Its not doing us any good at all having him in the team. He's going through a bit of a confidence drisis and having his own supporters continually on his back isn't helping. McCulloch was on the receiving end of similar treatment from a section of the support but has shown the spirit required to win them over. There's no doubt in my mind that Lafferty will come good given time. Six months in Barlinnie would do for starters.

Davie Weir has been absolutely outstanding for Rangers and arguably Walter's best pound for pound signing of all time. Seems to me certain people continue to write him off based purely on his age and not his performances. There's only one defender better than him in Scotland right now and that's Bougherra - no one else comes close.

Why do we as Rangers fans always have to have a scapegoat, a whipping boy? We've had guys like Craig Moore, Alan Hutton and in more recent times Charlie Adam, Kenny Miller and Lee McCulloch. Seems it's Big Laffs turn along with Whittaker and if Edu doesn't buck up soon he's next in line. Lafferty will come good, he's still young and learning his trade. Todays result was a good one for all connected with our great club, let's be content in the knowledge that it's them that are hurting right now. We went there today with half a team and they still couldn't beat us. "The Wee Man" as you call him, hasn't kicked his own arse. Walter plays players on merit, how much they cost doesn't come into it. Agreed, Lafferty had a poor game today but he put in a shift along with the rest and earned the corner in the lead up to the equalizer. On a day like today when we headed into enemy territory minus several key players I think we should be praising them all as opposed to picking on certain individuals. We fought hard as a team and for that alone deserved a share of the spoils All things considered, a draw today was a wonderful result.

Slightly off topic I know but as I look at that save above I can't help but notice two or three of the great unwashed wearing blue. Personally, I never wear anything green and I'm amazed at why anyone would choose to wear the colours of their greatest rivals - especially on a match day.

Yes, we rode our luck and spent most of the game on the back foot but the resilience and battling qualities shone through in abundance and at the end of the day this is a point won. Already today on here we've seen threads criticising certain individuals within the team but we stood together when the chips were down and that's why we are the champions! Well done everyone.

Yes, this is a ridiculous post, but for those calling for the guy to be banned is equally ridiculous. This is a football forum, it's all about opinions, just because someone doesn't happen to share your point of view is not a reason for them to be banned.
