  1. Fuck kris Boyd, I hope he regrets leaving for the rest of his life, he's a fat, lying, lazy, moaning, chesny loving wanker
  2. Although i agree the two in discussion would be better then nothing, i would rather we put the money from one of them (particularly Smith) into trying to push through the Jelavic deal if this was feasable, with Jelovic there would definitely be a sell on value
  3. I'll be gutted if we don't get Jelavic, he would have been a cracker in my opinion, now we could be stuck with another two OAPs, and to make matters worse, the scum have just cinfirmed they are in talks with Man City for belend
  4. Sorry guys i forgot to source the quote The "Scottish Daily Express"
  5. Rangers have been told that Tommy Smith is not for sale Thursday August 12,2010 By Scott Burns Comment Speech Bubble Have your say(0) RANGERS have been told that Tommy Smith is not for sale - after Portsmouth turfed out their improved £1.6 million offer. It is another set-back for Walter Smith - who have seen his £4 million bid for Croatian striker Nikica Jelavic stall over the player's personal terms. Smith then decided to re-ignite his interest in ex-Watford forward Smith, who he had tried to sign for £400,000 earlier in this summer, but even going back in with a vastly improved offer couldn't persuade Pompey counterpart Steve Cotterill to sell. Cotterill said: Tommy Smith is not for sale. We would only be willing to put a valuation on a player if we were willing to sell and Tommy is not a player we are interested in selling. People think they can offer anything and because of our situation then we will accept but believe me that is not the case. We are not under any pressure to sell any of our players and we don't have to sell anybody. There are maybe one or two players in my squad that I would be willing to let go but Tommy Smith is definitely not one of them. He is one of the players here that I believe can help take this club forward. He is not for sale - end of story! Championship rivals QPR have also been linked with Smith but Cotterill is adamant they would be given the same treatment. Smith now has to ponder his next move as he looks to make his first signing of the summer.
  6. Well unless i've missed it, there has been no statement from Rangers saying a fee has been agreed with Rapid, i know it was on sky sports but that could be just speculation, this is what i mean by it all going quiet and asking where he is and where are we with the deal
  7. Well i want him to get Jelovic done and dusted, it's went on too long now, we must have knew roughly how much he would have wanted before we went this far down the road, it's called doing your homework, if this doesn't come off now, we'll be a f...... laughing stock
  8. Tbh so did i, when he came out and spoke when Wilson left, but my faith is wearing a bit thin now
  9. Is he still in Austria?, this has all went too quiet for my liking, i know with these things you have to be discreet, but he's disappeared of the radar
  10. Iraq goals and MyP2P.eu/ are advertising it, but when you go on they've not got the stream coming through
  11. Has anybody got a stream for the game?
  12. It is on stv that Rangers officials in France for talks with Monaco for Gudjohnson(spelling)
  13. I can see both sides of the coin here, i have supported Rangers for more years than i care to remember and i have never slagged of the board, manager/staff or players, and there's been plenty poor times, but at this moment in time i am absolutely deflated, every time we get a we glimmer of hope. it's followed by a quick knock down, and i am now at the stage where i'm wondering if we should do something, i even emailed the club website to tell them how i feel, but surprise surprise got no reply, there is no excuse for not having signed at least one player by now
  14. When you think about it we shouldn't be very far away, going back to the end of January, 5.5 mil in transfers(including Mendez),3.5/4mil on wages with the players already gone, at least 10 mil CL money, plus season ticket money 14-15 mil,and that's not including Boughey or anyone else, i know the overheads like wages and other things, but this time next year surely we will be nearly debt free and much more attractive to potential investors
  15. Well said minstral, this is my first post, but to the young bears everything minstral said is true, i have been going to the games for forty years and seen it all, the good times and the bad, but as i keep telling my son, the best thing in the world is waking up a rangers supporter
