I'd have taken 2-0 going into this, 2-0 within ten minutes and a goal ruled offside was just spectacular! Really hope we beat Hibs and Celtics 5-0 laid down yesterday.

SkyGo uses the archaic Silverlight infrastructure so you have to watch it on Internet Explorer. All modern browsers have dropped support for Silverlight as development on it ceased in 2013 and newer solutions are superior, however, Sky stubbornly refuse to bring SkyGo up to the standards set by Netflix and other streaming solutions. In fact, Microsoft have even dropped support for Internet Explorer which was replaced with the Edge browser yet Sky insist on continuing with Internet Explorer.

If we're comfortably ahead come half time I'd give Pena a full half coming on for Dorrans and give Niko some minutes for Windass who will no doubt tire. If Rossiter is fit I'd take him on for Jack as well.

I reckon if we had Morelos on instead of Miller then the game would have been killed off with the pressure we applied in the opening third. Hodson was a weak link and by attacking that side Motherwell gained confidence, thankfully we won't have to rely on Hodson being a regular starter. While the result wasn't as good as I had hoped for we got three points and look to have a far stronger platform than last year. I genuinely think when the team gels we will only be a few select quality signings away from a team that could win the league.

A bit annoyed it ended 2-0, we look solid at the back but I still feel we aren't dangerous enough up front.

Get Morelos and Pena on to show what they've got, maybe chuck on Niko as well and go for the jugular now.

I think that's probably the whole Property Tax thing they have there. So even after paying the mortgage off you have to pay a recurring tax fee based on the value of the property. I might be talking shite as I'm typing this from the pub with no facts behind me but I'm sure that's a thing.

Alves and Candias looked really good. While Jack and Dorrans done exactly as you'd expect from them. All in all Saturday has made me slightly optimistic for the season which is a huge improvement from the dreaded fear I had before.

I think he done well to bully the defenders and snatch the ball high up the pitch. If Morelos or another in form striker is in and around the box getting into dangerous positions then I think Herrera will bag a load of assists. As for how well he'll score himself I'll need to wait until I've seen more of him and he's up to speed. I do however think that he'll be more of a target man to get/keep the ball and set up others in front of goal.

To be honest I didn't notice him touch the ball but he was only on for 10 minutes. Might take a bit longer to gel with the team and needs more minutes but for now I couldn't say if he's any good or not.

Looks like a great partnership with Tav developing.

Looked a lot more like a team today. It's a solid foundation anyway and with a clinical striker we'll be a very good team again soon.

I think we're looking rather solid in this 4-4-2. Not feeling nearly as scared for the domestic season to kick off now.

I'm still reeling over Europe but a few additional signings and importantly time for the team to gel and I'm hoping we start the season off with a bang. Then group stages would be a bloody minimum next year.

I'd give him until October to finish getting his team together, gel and go on a run. If we are underperforming still by October he needs to go.
