  1. ''The Admin of VB have made a decision for the betterment of the club and the support, that from this moment forward we relinquish all personal disagreements between ourselves and others and offer the hand of friendship to all in our one common goal..To take on our enemies out there who will not be happy until they squeeze the very life out of our great club and see it buried. The time for unity is of the essence after the disgraceful actions of an SFA clearly being orchestrated behind the scenes by those who would see benefit to themselves with our club no longer in existance. We at VB applaud the move taken by the RTID Northern Ireland Supporters to step up and play, we can all clearly see there is an agenda at work here, we aim to be part of the fightback to ensure the agenda is not only crushed, but those who are compliant in trying to have us buried are also removed from their positions post haste. The Motto says ''Ready''.. Are you? VB are, and hope we all join as one to take the enemy head on.... VGB admin would like to applaud the statement made today by Mark Dingwall which quite rightly pointed out the bias within the SFA. We would also like to applaud the work done by him and many others behind the scenes in ensuring that Rangers Football Club continues to operate as a football club. There is no point pretending any more that things will simply work out and that we will continue as normal. The situation is now so dire that Rangers FC are in very real danger of ceasing to exist full stop. Therefore we at VGB are making it crystal clear we will support any and all efforts by Mark Dingwall, The Rangers Supporters Trust, The Assembly and indeed ANY group who are fighting to save Rangers FC. All differences of opinion and strategy are being left behind where they belong. The only issue that matters is the safety of Rangers FC and we stand ready to do whatever is necessary to ensure we all have a football team to support for years to come. UNION BEARS STATEMENT - Union Bears statement The time has come for all Rangers fan to unite, stand shoulder to shoulder and fight the enemies which threaten our great club. The SFA have not set out to punish Rangers, they have set out to destroy Rangers. We now find ourselves in this horrible situation and the only way we can accomplish anything effectively is if we rise together. Action has to be taken and The Union Bears will be a part of that! A protest and march to Hampden has been arranged and the details are mentioned above Spread the word and let's get as many bears there as possible. No Surrender The Union Bears
  2. They've currently got 2,501 folk on the board at the moment and 60,837 signed up members. More is not necessarily better but they have a bigger audience to get boycotting messages across. FF and RM have far far more in common than many think and it's times like these that all boards/groups have to work together.
  3. "massive issue which was unforseen yesterday and should not have happened" Christ, that sounds bad. Something massive that was not expected and should not have happened i.e should have been prevented. Just when you think it can' get anymore fucked up. It gets worse and worse.
  4. Another Dingwall thread, another thread of fart air. We're on the brink of extinction and instead of trying to save the speices we are actively trying to destroy it by in-fighting. Dingwall has emerged as the turn-to Rangers supporter for comments on radio or TV and has been for over a month. He is well spoken and has not as yet said anything that I disagree with so for me I don't give a fuck if he's a cunt, fat, ugly gayer who is employed as a cleaner. I'm surprised the media haven't turned to a handwringing gaylord who wants to turn Rangers into just another football club. At the moment he is the only one is saying things I agree with in the media. Basically, TBKs are promising us the earth but it's the best chance we've got of remaining alive. If discussing Dingwall or listening to him causes such great upset amongst some then I suggest you don't open the thread and don't listen to what he says. He will never ever be the official rep on a Rangers board so you can relax on that point.
  5. Personally I think there's a niche in the market for someone to write a book about the Balkan wars. There's surprisingly little about and even less that's any good. Although it will probably be another 20 years before folk look back and it properly sinks in what a messed up place this part of the world was. And right under the noses of the EU and NATO. So if you're really interested in these parts give it a go. I'd buy it
  6. They continue to think whether they could start a Balkan League as all the clubs in the region suffer from lack of competition. But there remains a fear that games such as Red Star v Hadjuk Split would provide provide the spark to kick things off in a bad way round these parts. It remains a complete mystery to me how there was a war here as the vast majority of folk in the region are fine decent people. It's a warning to us all. I confess to finding Serbs warmer than Croats but other than that there's very little difference. Proud, humorous, friendly and a handsome race of people. Croatia and Serbia are in the same WC qualifying group as Scotland, Macedonia and Belgium so it will be fun and games when they play each other. Will probably be no away fans but it will be bedlam. I joke to folk here that I hope the two of them get papped out for violence as that will give Scotland a chance of qualifying. If you're after a decent book I'd suggest "The Serbs - History, Myth & Destruction of Yugoslavia" by Tim Judah even though it doesn't paint Serbs in the best of light.
  7. This is just after Red Star scored their first. Everyone off their bench and their goalie ran up the length of the park to celebrate with their fans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_Du2gxbGRk&feature=related
  8. Partizan weren't up for it and their fans were relatively subdued. Red Star well up for it and kicked things off with a good display. Partizan had a few good chances in the first half but their Toad of a manager, Avram Grant obviously used all his charisma to come up with a half time talk which made Partizan not turn up in the 2nd half. Both ends were full of the usual nutters but other areas were slightly mixed. How anyone can stand next to your bitter rivals and watch them score without wanting to batter them is beyond me. Nowhere close to the hatred and passion when we play the beasts. But neither is it a Liverpool "derby". Next biggie is the Belgrade league derby on 5 May but Partizan should be more up for that and will hopefully clinch the league by winning.
  9. They probably say the same about celtc fans - after all, many of them support one of the biggest paramilitaries in Europe. It helps being a foreigner - I feel far safer in and around a Belgrade derby than I ever did travelling away to Hibs or Aberdeen in the mid-80s
  10. Cash I'd guess. Partizan fans will never like him - he's seen as a mercenary.
  11. I'm off to the Partizan v Red Star Belgrade 2nd leg of the Cup at Partizan's stadium tonight. The gypsies, sorry...I mean Red Star, are 2-0 up from the first leg even though Partizan were all over them. Should be a hoot with fireworks and flares galore. Avram Grant is Partizan manager and is as popular as Steve Kean at Blackburn. Fans are too organised for my liking. No spontanaity with everyone doing what the Capos tell them to do.
  12. Alan Davies @alandavies1 is getting it from the scousers over his comments about Liverpool never playing on 15th April. Twitter...the best publicist a man can have in the 21st Century . @alandavies1 Absolutely shocking comments from you all respect lost CUNT just try going to liverpool now you will fucking die @alandavies1 You fucking absolute wanker, so glad your mum died, LOLOLOLOLOLOL @alandavies1 You should now know why Salman Rushdie never set a novel in Liverpool.
  13. Churchill used propoganda to win the war. Doesn't mean his intentions were wrong.
  14. For me, liquidation is the very worst case scenario. And for that reason we should be doing our utmost to prevent it happening. Liquidation is the easy way out for new owners and will completely dismantle our support. The reason we have had this incredible support over the past month or so is because we want to avoid liquidation. Maybe those in favour of liquidation should hold green cards up on Saturday - quite an apt colour too.
  15. I think we're all getting sick of everything. No one is being told what to do and for those at Ibrox who don't want to raise the Red Card then they need not do so. I do think that 99% of the crowd will be against liquidation so for me it's a worthwhile message to get across - especially in case any foreigner is even considering liquidating us to then make a quick buck. One thing that is becoming clear though: if we are liquidated there will be many different groups wanting to become the newco Rangers. Liquidation signifies the end of Rangers as we know it. I hope everyone at Ibrox can join together and raise the red card in objection to that and put petty differences aside.
  16. 안녕하세요 There used to be a celtc top in The Wolfhound Irish pub in Itaewon, Seoul. After a few too many OBs it was torn down and set on fire by a Brentford fan I was with you has a similar distaste for the rag. Well, when I say set on fire - it didn't actually catch fire which I should have expected as shite doesn't burn. So we had to resort to ripping it to pieces. Just as well it didn't catch fire as I'm sure the S. Korean police wouldn't have been best pleased with a fire on a street which was teeming with US soldiers.
  17. For me, my wishlist is simple: 1) No liquidation 2) No foreign ownership 3) Manageable debt by which I mean the ability to at least retain our current squad 4) No more points deducted
  18. Cheers for You Tubing. I wonder when Ally did this.
  19. Rangers FC Official‏@RFC_Official VIDEO: "Rangers is my club. Rangers is your club. United we stand." Ally McCoist 2012 http://t.co/kMza1RHS #RangersForever Anyone got a link that works past the 34 second mark? I'm not on Facebook.
  20. I can't stand the sight of the "man". He has the look of someone that should never be near a football pitch unless associate with redring fc. Despite that, he was the only player for them that played from the heart today. And if I were a rattler, that would bring tears to a glass eye.
  21. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Just in. Magic. :uk: :uk: :uk: :uk: :uk: :uk:

  23. Fully agree on Jig and we must play on the ground. Their back four are oafs and can be split open with quick passing to feet. They'll lap high balls up. We should only play one high ball which should come in the 1st minute to give Jig a chance at getting an elbow in one of their eye sockets.
  24. Big big test for McCoist and he's got some very difficult decisions to make. A few players are returning from injury but should he risk them from the start. He'll be the best judge but for me I'd keep Lafferty on the bench rather than risk playing from the start. Wouldn't be surprised to see Jig having to play in at least 2 different positions today. We need him on top of his form as we do Davis and Goian. Could also do with Aluko getting off to a good start. But as usual, the pre-match talk means nothing. Whatever happens there will no doubt be surprises. Will happily accept us playing dirty and resorting to violence if need be.
  25. G'day. I'd opt for RTV as you'll get proper coverage and not run the risk of adverts popping up every 30 seconds on the free sites. Plus your US$9.50 will go to Rangers. Know the feeling when you're watching the game on a completely different time zone but I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
