After reading the reports that we are to replace Boydy with David Healey, does Moneybags Murray think that he can appease the fans each time he sells our better players by signing someone from Northern Ireland? It might just be me but the management seem to think this will can stop the protests and outcry from fans. After ceullar left smith was quick to sign Lafferty. Murray AND Smith seems to think the fans only care about getting one up on the slagging match with Celtic! You must have been watching a different game than me! How can you blame Mcgregor for the goal, he stopped the first from point blank range then which imo was an excellant save. Had no chance was with the rebound shot was unstoppable.

After watching the game I cannot see Velicka being a success, he is too similar to boyd and does not seem have the attributes to cement his place in the first eleven, he is far too slow and doesnt seem to have the clinical edge if front off goal that boydy has. He is a squad player at best imo.

When boydy doesnt play Gers create few chances and everyone moans that we need an out and out goal scorer. When he does play and bangs in a goal everyone moans that he isnt contributing enough, the lad cant win! At the end of the day goals win games and the gers need him because velenka or miller are not going to get enough goals throughout the season to win us the league.

Thomson is ideal for that role imo, can battle when needed and decent with possession. However as highlighted he does tend to get over excited and start lunging in, if he can cool the jets, can see him fillling in at DM.

Good interview imo. SDM right on one point that its easy for us fans to criticise his every move, especially when fuelled by the media. Impossible to please everyone, as he says he was criticised when he spent money like water, know hes tightened the purse he is abused.
