i like vlad, frustrating as hell at times but at least he tries to make something happen, had a great performance today, hope to see him and diouf start on thursday and on sunday, but who knows what walter will do.
not had a leader in the side since barry ferguson left IMO. kev thomson is a player i think we have missed, especially in games like today. its time for players to take on more responsibility, but who is the big question, the only guy i can think of is mcculoch.
id love to keep diouf here, has he not said that he didnt like the treatment of allardyce and thats why he was unhappy there? i may be wrong though. he would have to take a wage cut to come here on a permanent deal im guessing, but i suppose it would come down to what mattered more to him, playing every week at a club where hes loved by the fans or going back to a league where as far as i know he isn't liked at all.
I liked Velicka, after watching his performances for Hearts he certainly had it in his locker to score goals, but i think him and Boyd were similar in the sense that they were goal scorers but Boyd seemed to be ahead in the pecking order at the time if memory serves me correct.
hes not had a great a season so far, if you compare it to his performances last season, i still think he is a big player for us and his pass for jelavic today shows he does have the ability, hopefully he can turn his performances around and re-create the form he had last season.
