  1. Happy that Mayweather-Alvarez is happening but a bit "meh" on the catchweight, but if 2lbs was the difference between the fight happening or not then so be it. Floyd being hypocritical is nothing new.
  2. He's European level at best in my opinion.
  3. Bellew fight was dreadful. Chad Dawson takes him to school if they fight.
  4. Punch stats for the Bellew-Chilemba fight seemed way off as well.
  5. Thank fuck I'm not the only one who had it a draw. Thought I was going mad.
  6. I had it a draw but I was fine with the decision. Will re-watch though and see if I have anything different, there were quite a few close rounds.
  7. Ring walks about 11:15 apparently.
  8. I think too much is being made of that knockdown. I may well be proved wrong but I don't think it's as a big a deal as has been made out. Kessler is more aggressive than he was three years ago, and he did buzz Froch the last time they fought. Way I see it is that Froch has to take Kessler's jab away. If he does that he wins comfortably.
  9. I don't really get the KO picks for Froch. Kessler's last two knockout wins have been just as impressive if not better than Froch's last two. Someone will probably get knocked out now that I've said that though. Seen Eddie Hearn saying that if Froch wins he becomes an all-time great, that's just laughable. Can't stand Froch, so I'm rooting for Kessler.
  10. I don't find Froch like-able at all, but maybe it's just me. Comes across like he always has a chip on his shoulder.
  11. I hope Kessler wins. Cannot stand Froch.
  12. Kind of agree here. I'd favour Chisora to out-work Audley but Chisora isn't as big a puncher as Price or Wilder.
  13. Apparently Audley is coming back. Won't be surprised to see him in with Chisora on June 15th. Antonio Margarito is also rumoured to be making a comeback.
  14. I'm with you on Chilemba, but feel the the home advantage is going to play a big part in Froch getting a decision.
  15. I think it's difficult to say what his natural walk about weight is as he is apparently in the gym all the time keeping himself in shape. But given the amount of junk food he eats who knows.
  16. I think Froch wins a decision this weekend. Should be a good fight.
  17. I just don't think Floyd puts on as much weight overnight as you think he does. Not at welterweight anyway.
  18. I don't think he is, and the fight night weights that are on record for Floyd suggest that he isn't close to mid to high 150's.
  19. According to Floyd he was 147 on fight night against Cotto and he had a cold that weekend, no idea if that would make him lose weight though. And I'd say fight night weights are pretty relevant when you consider that Chavez Jr. can weigh around 180-190.
  20. Not disputing that. And I don't think Floyd is the GOAT. He's one of them, but not close to number 1.
  21. Of course I would be, but asking Floyd to fight a middleweight is a bit far fetched in my opinion. And say Floyd and GGG fought 154, does whoever wins get credit for it? Because people will say "well, Golovkin was weight drained etc." And if Golovkin beats him, then some are going to say "well, Floyd is a welterweight and Golovkin is a middleweight." I'm all for fighters moving through weights, but within reason.
  22. Well, Floyd weighed in at 147 on fight night against Judah, 147 against Cotto. He was 150 against Ortiz. Those are just fight night weights off the top of my head but my guess is Floyd is rarely above 152. About 2/3 weeks before his fight with Guerrero he was at 148lbs.
  23. I've no interest in Floyd-Golovkin. Golovkin is a middleweight, Floyd is a natural light welterweight.
