See I love Ally to bits and he is a legend no matter what happens during his reign. But it's like he has no fire in his belly, walter was quiet but the players knew not to fuck with him. When things went tits up he got the finger out (the twitter ban for example). Whereas Ally probably takes them into the dressing room and tells some knock knock jokes. As for his assistants... what I wouldn;t give for us to have an archie knox type in there.

Defence is fine (ok right back is a little suspect) Strikers can finish if supplied, that much has been proven (although any pro footballer should be able to shoot in my opinion, 20k a week should be more than enough to at least be able to do that) Our midfield never do anything, they don't push up, they don't move, they don't pressure. For me, whoever we play, whenever the opposition have the ball, my stomach churns a little for fear they actually could create something. When our midfield get the ball, I expect possession to be lost relatively quickly or a side and back passes a plenty. That isn't right. Tonight we lost the battle in midfield as I felt that clatty mob were no good at going forward and were more about set pieces. But their midfield had the possession and caused us enough problems to generate those set pieces that cost us.

Love your optimism. But right now I feel sick as a dog by what this team have shown in the last few weeks. Can't remember having so little confidence in this team

If I was ally I'd have that mob locked in that dressing room til santa's done his rounds. Then he should have a good fucking look at himself. All this "still top" is just burying heads in the sand, we are going to be lucky if we're top by wednesday night. Top we may be but we are fucking howling and are just getting worse. Inverness should have been the wake up they needed (could and should have been gubbed proper in that game) but now I fear we will have a repeat of the 3-0 game from last season before any possibility that the team want to win 4 in a row.

For the people saying bring in weir for wednesday (not sure if it's sarcasm or serious) I don't think it'd be wise, he's 41 and hasn't kicked a ball for months. Match fitness is not on his side. Would be as well playing with a big hole in defence. But knowing ally, I wouldn't be surprised.

Not convinced Ally's words at half time have had much effect but Aluko should have been on from the start.

Just before my time but I bet the early - mid 80's team had a little more desire than this current lot. (And dare I say our league was of a higher standard back then) The last few weeks when we have possession I always feel as if not much is going to come of it and when the opposition has the ball there is always a fear something will happen. All this is plainly because the players who seemingly refuse to take control of a game.

Wednesday is looking like it's going to be a table topping clash and to be frankly honest, it's looking increasingly unlikely that it'll be us topping the table on Wednesday night. Since that fanny got himself sent off (rightly or wrongly he should know better than to give refs excuses) it's been all one way traffic. We have no mobility or width in midfield, no one even seems capable of even playing the simple ball. We may have a good defence but it gets worse the further up the field we go (a strike force is useless if it has no service). Never mind signing strikers, we need a couple of midfielders who will take the game by the fucking throat when shit goes against us and no one in this midfield has any balls. I'm not conceding the league but the cracks are beginning to widen.

There's no way it was a foul and the way he threw himself down was suspect... to me anyway.
