Bags taking shape. New Maveriks. Swapped out my Taylormade ghost putter for an old school Ping anser as I like the feel and look of the old school putters. Just need to replace the old vokeys with matching mack daddy wedges and maybe get a hybrid.

Been needing new irons cos I've been using old Titleist 690.CBs with stiff shafts and they're fucking brutal. Unforgiving as fuck. Opted for Callaway Mavrik 22 steels. And a Callaway X hot 3 wood tae as needed to fill a gap. The 5 iron on the mavriks is 21° fs! The 3 iron on they old Titleists was 22°. Is that just the way modern irons are made?

Routenburn is a belter of a course and imo better than Largs Kelburn course. Will be cheaper too and easier to get a tee time as it's council run. It's a cunt of a walk though very hilly.
