The problems are numerous: ATTITUDE There is a serious lack of intensity about our play. Too many players feel they can cruise during games. They can't. They aren't fucking good enough to do that. There is a lack of committment with too few players willing to put their body on the line for the cause. There are some who are here for the wrong reason. The likes of Templeton, Sheils and Black are vastly overrated. Some such as the Greek defender, Cribari, Perry and Faure are frankly not good enough to pay professsional football. There is not enough desire, no real sense of unity and a lack of verve. TACTICS Instead of keeping it simple with 4-4-2 we have attempted to accomodate nonentities like Shiels by adopting systems which suit few. We play the percentages too often by lumping the ball into the opposition half and attempting to build play from there. This doesn't suit some of our players and is a gift for the opposition who want to see us playing football more suited to the 4th tier of Scottish football. Why has Little spent 3/4 of the season out wide when he is the most natural finisher at the club? Just one of many mysteries. QUALITY Occasional moments of inspiration have got us out of many difficult situations. In the main though, only our extra fitness has earned us so many points. Many games being settled late on when the opposition are breathing out of their arses or down to 10 men. DEFENDING Shambolic.
