  1. Take it easy on the drink eh.

In the part where I say enjoy watching us defend I meant I enjoy seeing Kiernan's solid tackles that always win the ball, even when he is one on one with the striker it is usually thrilling because he is like a rock who always wins, but I agree mate today is the day to relish our victory and consider who magic hat will sign in January as we look forward to the title this season, a cup win too, and then the prem battle for 55 next season where we do to every prem team what we done to Hibs today.

Ps if we sign Dom Ball on a free that would be one of the best signings since Laudrup

Could turn into a decent player, however, lets see him face a few more strikers than some championship level players before comparing his potential arrival to the likes of The Great Dane.

  2. According to Keevins today, Stubbs played warburton like a violin.

    Honestly he actually said that.

Keevins would be more advised to get on with some 'courageous jourbnalism,' as Stubbs would be with some actual football management. Pair of fucking wallopers.

  3. Don't think either Wilson or DM are particularly good.

DM managed player of the year when probably more than half the squad had ostensibly downed tools or were simply awful. The award was given more for consistent effort, and if we are being honest, should have skipped a year as anyone receiving the thing was quite frankly an embarrassment.

Looking reasonable in the worst and most poorly constructed Rangers team it's been my misfortune to watch didn't hide his failings.

  4. I don't think anyone is wrong on Zelalem, just perhaps a little fixated on him being one thing.

Zelalem hasn't thus far performed in anyway near the level required to get into the midfield of our team in a normal year, he has so far at this level failed to set the heather alight in a fashion that suggests he's on the cusp of greatness.

By the same token he isn't shite either, if you remember Arteta being at us we sold him at a loss, with a few more years under his belt he was worthy of a move to Arsenal and was valued at a pretty penny to boot. Zelalem COULD be in that vein, he'll MAYBE go on to be a very good player but it looks like that will be a few years down the line IF he stays on course in that direction.

All in all he is a young player who may or may not reach heights, we're not going to see the best of him but we might bring him on a bit and get the odd turn out of him if we're lucky.

Off topic, always amazed we sold Arteta for the price we did. Really baffled me that one. Anyone could see he had that bit of quality about him.

  5. I am sure one of the lads can confirm but I am sure he is suffering from Guillain Barre Syndrome. Seen a thing recently about a guy suffering from it, a virus that attacks your nervous system which basically paralyses from the neck down. He was hoping to make a full recovery however it said he could be in hospital for up to a year.

All the best Booler, hope 2016 brings a speedy recovery.

    Had no idea about that.

I wish him all the best and can only echo those sentiments.

All the best for a tough road ahead, Booler!

  6. Although your right in what you say regarding the spoon burners, we have seen time and time again when we were winning the SPL that winning games at the last minute where your not playing well at all is what wins tithes, they are doing this and we are struggling whilst playing badly. This for me is why we need to win this game and recapture some form.

Picking up those kind of wins - when you've no business to - is indeed key, however, if that same level of consistency is shown by both teams throughout the season, then it's the big head to heads that win it for you. I don't think this is the case in our situation this year, as I don't think they'll be able to maintain this run, regardless of their results against us. As I alluded to, I think they are an average footballing side.

That said, while we've been making collective and individual errors, as MW said, I don't think there have been too many games where we have been awful. We're dominating possession and most games, but lately have been suffering for not converting our chances and due to the fact we will concede goals with the defence we have.

  7. This is part of the reason we have not been beating teams lately, Tav and Lee used to make runs into the box at every opportunity but have stopped doing it as team have shown that punting the ball over our heads leaves our fullbacks in no mans land, they still push forward to the edge of the area so they would bebetter taking a chance and get into the box with the ball and let the oopponents worry about us and not the other way around.

Lee has always been better going forward. Hardly on a Ricky Foster scale, but at times a bit of a mess at the back.

  8. It's just another 3 points as Mr Warburton says.

Let's not kid ourselves on here, Hivs are not a big club, big team or anything else, they have a shite wee stadium, a shite fanbase, a manager who is a cunt.

a lot of fans seem to think they're Barcelona because of their recent run, they've scraped by games, they've won games by cheating ( QOTS )

If the right Rangers with the right attitude turn up on Monday it's a win all day long, the sooner we put these smug junkie fucks in their place the better.

Some may do, however, at the very least they've put together a consistent run of form. I think they are bog average, however, we can take nothing for granted this season. Not gaining promotion would be an absolute disaster and we should be doing nothing to give them any kind of further momentum.

Any kind of a three points on Monday is exactly what we want come Monday.

  9. Every match - at least domestically - is a must win for us, however, if - and it's a big if - the they can managed to maintain any kind of consistency to this level, then matches like Monday's are going to be crucial.

Let's be honest, they are the major rival for automatic promotion. That tit at Falkirk isn't challenging as much as the mhedia would like to turn it into a little heart warming story.

We've seen it for many years with the manky mob, on many an occasion where we both maintain that level of consistency, it was the Old Firm games where the title was won and lost. Old Tommy B. didn't hold Andy Goram in such high esteem for nothing.
