  1. Glad we have brought these two new CB's in on permanent deals and not a loan basis. Dislike the premise of loans in general, however, given our closeness to the EPL and the way Scottish footbal has gone, can see why we probably need to go down that route for a player here an there now. That said, I'd prefer it to be one or two players able to supplement the squad of our own players, rather than loads being added in the shape of loans. In particular the spine of our team, to me, always needs to be our own players. Hopefully him and the Croatian lad can start providing us with a bit of stability at the back. Positive moving forward here.

Lucky bassa, bet it's not freezing gale force winds and pishing down there like it is in Greenock the now?

He has flopped big time after his rat stunt so worst of luck to the prick.

To be fair to him he un-earthed the big raw rough diamond that is David Bates.

It was howling winds and pishing down a couple of days back, if that makes it any better!

I think he and his 'plan A better' has been found out with a certain standard of player to be honest, but the ginger Maldini is a fine legacy to leave anywhere, I suppose I've been harsh

    Over where?

I'm just talking to taigs i talk to on a day to day basis mate.

Warburton is a fanny all the same.

    Live near Malaga, mate.

I've not heard too much talk about him for ages to be honest. After Pedro and all, he seems to have fallen back into just another part our history and the madness of the last fee years. Rarely hear much chat on him now.

If bread man is a Timmy slur, then I stand corrected

A fan of Warburton? No, not at all.

Still only ever heard taigs refer to him as the bread man though.

I rarely read their spewings nowadays, and being over here you don't bump into too many rabids, on that front.

I read it on here frequently when we were going through the Warburton era. I'd consider Calling Ally, Sally tim like - but not a bread based slur for the bald one.

    Bread man, taig patter mate.

Are you a fan? In the sense of his contribution and leaving.

Not exactly a club legend, and one who fucked (tried to fuck) us over at pretty much the first oppertunity.

Mark Warburton flew to America to get this over the line, i remember at the time he said he had to look him in the eye to see if he still had the hunger, he apperently did as they shuffled the salt and pepper pots around the dinner table in tactical fashion.

I can actually envisage the bread man doing that. Unfortunelty the salt took a heavy tackle but has trained well since coming back and should be....I don't know?.....7-10 days away!

On the topic of employment strategy, I was just walking past Glasgow University and 3 janitors and a University van were gritting the pavement.

The driver had all Windows down (in a blizzard) and was blaring, and I mean blaring out Fields of Athenry. Nothing wrong with that song in itself, but you just know it's done with an attention seeking and pissing people off type of motivation. Cunts are at it. Could swear the cunt was staring at me to see what my reaction was.

You can imagine the manky uproar if it was an Ulster folk song.

So anyway, wondering if it's suggestive of Glasgow University Estates' employment preferences, given all three if them we'e enjoying it.

I thought it was going to be a Englishman, Scotsman, Irishman joke after I read the first paragraph!

Used to do a karaoke where a guy would always do his piece singing FOA. He was Scottish and I asked a pal of his and mine his allegiance, presuming he would say the obvious. Turned out he was supposedly a Rangers man. Boggles the mind.

Are they not both out of contract in the summer? I'm sure there was talk of us assessing him with a view to picking him up if we liked him as he wouldnt be contracted.

To me it appears one is developed and first team ready. Can make a difference. Has something in his locker now that will interest clubs and rightly so.

    We got the other one.

Hitting the nail on the head!

I'd rather not develop players for for fucking sharks in the EPL, however, given where Scottish football is, and in our current situation, I can grudgingly accept that the loan route may offer us something. But by fuck, let's actually get something out of it, a player who can actually contribute at this level and is capable of delivering an improvement of what we have, nevermind not being able to even sniff the first team.

Additions like him are about at useful as bringing the likes of Dacio.

If we are being used to develop players for Arsenal, Man City, it would stick less in the craw if they weren't at chocolate fireguard status. Our 'use' of the loan market in the last few years has been average to horrific.

Given his 'contacts' at Man City, completely amazes me we end up with him as the sum and substance of his recruitment in the loan market and City itself. Utter pish.

He's shite and is clearly using this as a way to keep fit for the world cup.

Don't expect him to risk injury going in for 50/50s.

Probably true, although, if he keeps up performances such as this, he'll be nowhere remotely near the starting eleven in Russia.

I cant disagree with that but he was offered a contract and he gets handed a shirt every week, I simply think he is following orders when on the park. It is really up to Pedro to realise that he hasn't the touch or perhaps fitness to drop deep and still get forward to support a main striker.

He's never been at all suited to this type of bizarre free roaming roll to pull the strings and link the play. It's truely awful to watch and if that's is the way we are going on many an occasion, it's going to be another season to endure.
