I understand what you are saying, but I think it doesnt make good business sense to merge with another team. A newco may lose some fans, but a merge would lose much, much more imo. I could be wrong, but I think we would lose a lot more fans if we merged with another team. Whoever buys us must see the potential with our enormous fanbase, and I would imagine they would not want to risk that. You are correct though that we can assume nothing.

D and P disagree with me as they rack up more and more legal bills. I understand their stance on financial assistance, but whether their stance will stand in court is still another expensive battle that we will have to fund and fight. Getting into bed with Whyte was a huge mistake from them and I am sure they regret it. However, whether they acted in good faith or not, I have no idea. I just don't feel right throwing someone under the bus who helped rid us of serious bank debt.

I somewhat understand the hate towards Ticketus, as they were the ones who funded Whyte. But, was it not the Ticketus money that paid off our debt to Lloyd's? Whyte can gtf, but I really don't have a problem with Ticketus wanting their money back. In the end I want what is best for Rangers, but I personally don't see Ticketus as the enemy.

My guess is he started the accounts based on truth. Then when things got sticky, he either chose to omit things or was really vague. He probably used the tax case as a reason for being vague, as the tax case was still rather vague, and still is.

I am sure they are based in truth, but I imagine he excluded a lot of important information and had a lot of miscellaneous expenses. Actually, probably better to call the accounts utter nonsense.
