  1. We've seen a lot of players come through the doors at Ibrox over the years. Just wondering if you could pick a Scottish XI to play against an international select and, most importantly, who would win? Scottish XI Goram Hutton Weir Gough Robertson McCall B. Ferguson I. Ferguson Durrant Cooper McCoist International Select Charbonnier Numan Amoruso Goian Porrini Clement Mendes Tugay Lovenkrands Jelavic Mols I'd fancy a tight game with the Scottish XI edging it by a goal in a 2 - 1 win!
  2. No. No No Are Rangers FC on the verge of going bankrupt? You'd get better odds on St. Mirren winning next years Europa League. That's the only issue that remotely concerns me and as I just said, it's really doesn't concern me very much.
  3. But you know having said that, Catholic sectarianism in the Labour Party, sympathising with the IRA and sexual harrasment are all specialities of the chairman of Celtic FC...
  4. Just the cutting-edge investigation into corruption in the BBC beginning with the death of Doctor David Kelly would do me for now.
  5. ...and once again are these three seperate issues really and truly connected anywhere except your mind?
  6. Drop :whittaker: for :broadfoot: and :lafferty: for McKay and I'd be happier.
  7. Not in the same way but even within the BBC you'll find people who have had to change their own language and POV on account of what is going on. The point I was trying to make is that the only correlation between Alex Salmond meeting a Catholic Bishop and this forthcoming documentary on Craig Whyte and RFC is only RFC itself and not a concerted attack upon RFC. It just feels that way because of the way the mass media works in a very small market.
  8. See what you've just posted? It's a classic case of paranoia. For sure there are many people who don't like Rangers FC and are abusing their positions but putting it like this, seeing it like you've seen it, is paranoid delusion.
  9. I have to agree with Treble99 here; I think you're a little bit off getting worked up about this. There's a boy dead and you're more concerned about some dodgy media coverage which doesn't really make the blindest bit of difference to a country drowning in its own stupity.
  10. Well, lets not forget a young man has been murdered here. When those sorts of facts don't change the Modus Operandi of two of the countries major institutions then nothing will.
  11. Nope. Somebody posted a potted history of Mr Daly on page two of this topic.
  12. Basically if there was something really suspect going on I think word would have gotten out by now. The BBC do not have a secret inside line on Rangers. Unless of course one of the turncoats from the board has done a dirty deal...but, nah, it just all seems a little bit crazy to me. Sure, OK, Celtic covered up Jim Torbett's heinous crimes for years but do we really believe some gross embezzlement has been kept secret at Ibrox?
  13. Have to say I think the second half against Lichtenstein and the same against the Czech Republic don't exactly fill me with confidence. Yes, some of the attacking play is good on occasion and they hold the ball reasonably well in the midfield but they really fall out of the game from time to time. I don't see how it's possible for Spain not to score tomorrow.
  14. "'We can't say that, Lyndon,' he said. 'It's not true.' 'Of course it's not,' Johnson barked at him, 'but let's make the bastard deny it.'" By the time the programme is aired the damage will already have been done. And, really, what if it is the case that Whyte has a seriously suspect record and we're up shit creek with an asset stipper in charge? Personally I don't think Murray would jeopardise the future of the club and I doubt very much I'll take the time to watch the programme. This grew to be a bore months and months ago.
  15. Would think they'll win this game comfortably to extend the winning streak to 10 games. Get a funny feeling they might get close to a few of Celtic's SPL records this season.
  16. I don't think it's the 'nature' of BBC Scotland to be liberal or leftwing. It's been by design that they've taken that POV. Political Corruption has dictated who gets what job. I think it's really a little bit like positive discrimination. It's not so much they are attempting to discredit Rangers, it's just that they won't say anything about Celtic. Least of all because they don't want to antagonise their fans. You saw a lot of that last season.
  17. He's also said a lot of other things about being surprised and disappointed with the team at the start of the season after they had been so good, how they had to have a good look at themselves. Only last week he commented on the win over Celtic and said how much he enjoyed the feeling of winning so well and how he'd like to do that again and again during the season. So, no, I don't think Jelavic is taking us for a ride. Just not in especially good form. It happens to the best of them and there doesn't neccessarily have to be a reason why it happens.
  18. Well, it doesn't benefit the journalists to make the shows but to be sure they probably wouldn't be in the job if they leaned the other way. It doesn't even benefit political interests directly. But what you can say is that political and religious beliefs are getting in the way of the truth, at worst, and at best, it's simply because they're big Celtic fans and they hate the H***. Not saying that's the case with Mr Daly. This type of investigative journalism is supposed to be carried out in the interests of the public good; to expose crimes and injustices which, for one reason or another, don't make the routine Subject A shot Subject B in a bar or Subject A stole £1000 pounds from Subject B kind of news. It's more of a moral viewpoint, whereby exploring issues of importance for the future well-being of the society. High-minded for sure. And from that POV i don't really see that the financial dealings of a football club really fits into that category of reporting.
