    Actually had the ability to hit a team mate with a mid range pass after winning the ball, surprised me a few times as I am used to either a short sideways pass that gets us nowhere or a long hoof. Allowed us to switch momentum out of the back a few times.

    The were numerous times in the first half he took control of a hot ball in a tight area and worked his way out to give us breathing space to start building an attack...albeit it was rarely actually an attack due to the dross around him. That's what he is there to do imho and first half he did it very well

    i get that you have a different view to most on here on matters of club traditions and i respect that, but it is utter bollocks that you could think it is acceptable that our youth team can support our biggest competitors. This isn't even about culture or religion, it is about football and creating a and retaining a club that has passionate, hungry players. I would say the same if they were openly dreaming of playing for the sheep in a public forum.
