I played for the 162nd Lifeboys in the early 60s. We won 24-0 one Saturday and everybody including our goalie scored except me. I wasn't the best left back.

Goram, Klos and then McGregor a long way behind. If it was "Who's the biggest diddy" then Greegs moves comfortably into second place with Klos dropping out of the reckoning.

I loved it and that's a great idea swally.

I remember that night we got a phone call from our distant family in New York, quite rare at that time as it was so expensive. It was major news over there and I'd been occasional pen friends with my cousin who knew all about the Rangers from me. It was a major world event and is still so sad.
