I'm now starting to recall some tales of gay stuff. Whatever it was, he was off PDQ despite scoring some important goals and having an excellent goals to appearances record.

On the topic of strikers, Oleg Salenko got voted as the worst Rangers foreigner in FourFourTwo. It wasn't so much his record with us, more to do with the fact he came with a rather large reputation after USA '94 and in no way lived up to any of the form he produced then or previously for us. That, coupled to the fact he really disappeared into obscurity when at Rangers doesn't help his Rangers legacy. His entire reputation comes from one match in the 94 World Cup when he scored five goals. Virtually nothing of note before or after. Maybe the talent was there but the application certainly wasn't.

I remember him being treated like a bit of a joke by some of the press and that was completely unjustified. Those two goals against the tims were both crackers. And that was a superb match. Haven't they had some truly hideous strips over the years?

He's obviously a very bitter old man who's lost the ability to distinguish between damaging Murray and damaging Rangers.
