  1. If we insisted on the full sum and told them we'd sort it out with the player maybe they wouldn't have?
  2. Why on earth can't you argue a point rather than coming out with a childish response? Is that what you do with every thread you disagree with? Truly pathetic and along with these silly smiley things really does show the user up!
  3. That's true but I'm sure you'll realise that Mr Whyte and Ali Russell would have withheld that 5% if he had been vague! As I said 'if' the worse scenario happens the Croatian would not have got that cash! Alister needs to realise the days of Murray are over.
  4. Surely Ally should have said (when asked about Jela wanting a transfer) something along the lines of "he didn't put anything in writing, but he made it clear he wanted away" Had he done that and been vague I think we would have held on to that 5% and if (fingers crossed it doesn't) the Tax Case goes against us we would have at least put that to the bottom of the list of creditors and he would be very unlikely to get his paws on it, and having orchestrated his move RIGHTLY SO! Has Ally sided with the player and against Rangers? I think he has and that's why they've brought him into the picture about how close we are to Administration! He needs a rude awaking regards loyalty and should also be starting to choose his pals and business partners more carefully! Time he started putting the club first.
  5. I'm really catching up on a lot of Rangers reading these days, and the one I'm on at the moment is most enjoyable (21st Century Blue by David Edgar). Have to say though the spelling/grammatical and other errors are annoying, spotted 3 after as many chapters. I noticed a few in your book mate. I hope you get someone to proof-read your next one as it tends to spoil it a wee bit! Look forward to it and having just read 'Still Seeing Red' on Third Lanark hope we're still going strong by the time it comes out, and there's no sense of melancholy.
  6. Too many Bears just grin and take it. If someone uses the h word in my presence I'm out with "you Tarriers are real hypocrites etc. Most of them regard the f****n word as a compliment (unless they're complaining about us that is in the media that is!
  7. Evidence that SUGGESTS... Thing that concerns me is that their current attack suggests Craig Whyte hasn't started proceedings against them, as surely they wouldn't be able to repeat those accusations until the case was over?
  8. He can. IF he gets rid of his TV and buys a new one THEN doesn't tune it in. He would then get a rebate for what's left of his Licence period.
  9. It seems to me (and I suspect most of you) that Rangers FC and we Rangers fans that we are under constant attack. Personally I don't buy newspapers or listen to Scottish Radio Stations as THEY have (like the cancer on Scottish and British Society they are) invested everywhere. Once this Tax Case is over we really should be (as a club) setting up our own Radio Station. If Hospitals etc can do it we can. I love listening to sports talk and it would be great to rule out the hate thrown in our direction. I know a few of us get Rangers TV but that's only there to get cash and doesn't provide the service we need. Surely this isn't beyond our powers?
  10. Exactly. So much piss talked on this forum, and by a regular as well!
  11. Been reading this forum for a while and that is the most stupid thing I've read. Only one wanker I see.
  12. These nonsensical attacks on Mr Whyte just show you up as ignorant! He spent real money in the summer and would have given McCoist a fair bit last month had he done a half decent job, alas the reality of the situation is that Ally has made a pigs ear of the job. Face reality.
  13. They have a crap manager and if we could go unbeaten til the next Old Firm game I feel they'd drop points - I just don't see us going on such a run, not with the present manager. If Jimmy Calderwood was in charge I'd see that as a possibility.
  14. We do not need to be successful to survive, we survived the years John Greig was manager and in 2 or 3 years (or more) we will be back stronger, now is the time to take note of our many enemies - like that old Elephant advert when our time comes again these people will be getting a tap on the shoulder.
  15. Totally right on. Super Ally himself wouldn't have scored today, First priority is to stop goals, Second is to use the midfield to create chances, only then can strikers be judged and I am disappointed at the stick going in the direction of our strikers. Probably Gazza or Laudrup would have made a difference today but those days are gone and our strikers need service.
  16. I would take Jimmy Calderwood in a heartbeat - don't see any sense in Ally staying hope he holds his hands up and walks away, as Clint said a man just needs to know his limitations. Ally wants everyone to love him and that is his achilles, can't be done.
  17. For me it's a matter of good memories. With John Greig he was the greatest but I have to be honest and say him staying as manager - despite woeful performances for so many years - DID spoil my view of him somewhat. Listening to Ally answer queries like "can you turn this round" with answers like AAABSOLUTELY has me squirming. I loved Alister as a player but I want to keep all the positive memories intact. Please step aside and let the club have a chance of defeating that bigot Lennon. To Mr Whyte I would ask him to release that recording of racist abuse when the time is right and for me that time is now!
