Even a 25% rise would be fair enough, although I guess it would be closer to 10-15%. It's worth the money obviously considering you'll get to watch Rangers, McKay, Warburton, Waggy, Waldo, Tav, Holt, Kiernan, Fod, Wilson and everyone every 2nd week live in Ibrox. I think 10% could be a good amount, to try get 40k plus ST holders. I think good ST purchase incentives could be a free RangersTV subscription for 1 month for ST purchases, possibly some kind of match programme purchase in advance paying option for a discount to get them all posted to you, maybe even in a day or two advance of the match each time (?), also possibly signed (could be electronic signature(s)Willie Vass Print of Warburton & Weir, or Ibrox, or the whole Team, along with added to the clubs email subscription list etc (take it that's already an incentive)

I'm not sure about 25%, possibly I'd agree for the more lucrative seats e.g in the SJ rear centre, Main rear centre etc

Funnily enough this happened tonight in Stuttgart.

haha, quite funny but like I say that's a whole different world, it's a completely different financial model they operate in compared to the EPL. I remember when Bayer fans protested http://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2015/10/soccer-primer-why-are-bundesliga-ticket-prices-so.html

I agree our prices are ridiculous, teams in the premiership with terribly low crowds but as a club we're able to almost always get 40k +

We are where we are, I'd like to see it change but I can't see it. So based on those terms I think 10% seems ok

  3. Obviously hopefully based on premiership prices, last season was ~ 5% increase. I've been wondering myself what I'd feel was an acceptable increase considering the work that still needs done to the team, the stadium, facilities etc but also keeping in mind we can't just go gung ho and make it financially difficult for some. Personally, I think a 10% increase would be fair but what do others think? At that rate we'd have to be careful with successive season increases.

Also I'd hope corporate hospitality etc increases significantly considering it'd be the first season back in 4 years.

We're  a work in progress but still heading in the right direction with a team built from scratch only about 8 months ago .

The manager will know where to strengthen to make the progression to challenge in the top flight if we're there so whilst I'm frustrated we didn't win today realistically I'm happy with the progress this season given the omnishambles of last season.

Pretty much sums up how I've thought for a couple of months.

What we'll need when we go up is to be far more clinical in our play. Obvious stating the obvious but that means we need better players, up front, in midfield and at the back.

Good to see them acknowledging that we are the only show in town by singing about us.

OP has gotten it all wrong, it was a strong show of support for us.

If it isn't then ill be reporting my offence to the nearest constable.

Don't think you even understood my op, it didn't wind me up, make me mad or offend me.

I couldn't imagine us for example, ever singing to hearts or hibs there's only one team in edinburgh.

No arguments on the first paragraph.

Dont believe TLM is taking credit for anything but he did lay out clearly what he thought might happen.  Perhaps I was erroneous in calling it a prediction.  Some of us are just dumb IT guys and appreciate the insights of people like WeeNeiily and TLM who try to lay out the financial/accounting facts (tu)

Now we need a wee win on Saturday to cap a pretty good week.

Sorry but he is trying to take credit and its pretty embarrassing. I'm an IT guy too, it doesn't mean I'm not able to be patient or listen to words that trustworthy directors say.

I just think TLM has made himself out to be a soothsayer when after a year of obvious tellings from the board of directors, evidence starts to trickle through proving what they'd said all along.

    And fuck Killie too

Did someone not predict exactly this as well as the outcome e of the out case quite recently?

Edit not sure how I ended up with double quotes

DK said a long time ago, after the consortium won control over the boardroom that they'd be looking at all the contracts and challenging them if possible.

I think many believed what they said at the time and most accepted things were happening behind closed doors (most of which legally they couldn't tell us).

It seems TLM is taking credit for something already accepted by many.

You have to laugh when we have sections of the support demanding we win a cup yet can't be bothered to turn up to support them in said cup matches.

No reason not to sell this out.

Kinda pisses me off as well but I'd suppose there's probably a good few with season tickets, not on CCCS and watching it on TV instead.
