  1. You'd think you could just phone up and have it converted to a paper ticket for GB to pick up, but i cant see that being the case.

It's something I'd like to see the fans groups promote to the club, no point in seats sitting empty when someone who wouldn't normally attend could use.

When I posted my thread on FF it was deleted, presumably because you're not actually allowed to share your card.

So Govanblue, RF, BuyRangers etc, can't you speak to the club about this?

  2. Not a clue on that, to be honest.

There should be an easier way to transfer a ticket if someone isn't attending. I tried to share my card with someone on FF, I've got mates that sit close by so he could pickup/dropoff easy enough but he couldn't make most matches as he was training for marching season

  3. A boy I was friendly with briefly went from being a Rangers supporter in 86/87 and then became a shelick fan in 88 when they won the league.

Always thought he was a bit of a zoomer. I remember asking him why he was now a shellicker and he said he always was ??????

  4. Sounds exactly what we're after.

Type of player I was confident Warburton would know about through his knowledge and contacts down south.

Buzzing about the club at the moment. Fantastic feeling.

Me feeling that too, it seems wigan and birmingham fans think highly of him. Plus I trust Warburton has good knowledge of what type of player he needs for the team plans he has.

  5. Love the fact he said "some teams want to play long ball football, good luck them but that's not how we play"

Really looking forward to this season.. He rightfully said it'll take time, we'll all hopefully realise that it's not going to click right from the off

  6. For what it's worth I buy my ST to watch and support The Rangers on the park not a manager and / or his assitant so I'll be back no matter who is in charge. But a more exciting style of play would be very welcome.

Agreed.... There's also a hope that finally the club is taking a different approach to football, how we play it, scouting and youth. Time will tell but I think we're doing the right thing

  7. One of his quotes:

“I think it is always good to have a Plan B and sometimes a Plan C” to be a very telling one. One of the very few questions asked about Mark Warburton was around his suggestion that Plan B was simply to do Plan A better.

  8. Agreed.

Said earlier on that he conducted himself how a Rangers Manager should. It wasn't his team and he came in at a tough time, not to mention how difficult the play-offs actually were. Something I think most, myself included, underestimated.

I wish him all the best in the future, he's a good man.

I do feel a bit sorry for him, it wasn't a great position to be in. I don't think he actually did poorly with us (even though some disagree and his stats looked worse). He became manager when the team was at it's lowest, a team that needed to be completely gutted with huge turmoil going on off the pitch.

Hope he does well in future

  9. Quality :D

You're over-egging everything as usual. You're buying a t-shirt mate, not going into business with them.

I can picture you grilling the wee bloke outside Ibrox that sells the bags of kids sweets.

IP: "What are your aims mate?"

Bloke: "to sell sweeties for kids to enjoy"

IP: "is this venture legally verifiable mate?"

Bloke: "I just want to sell some sweeties, do you want some"

IP: "aye ok, give me a bag of rum truffles".

I don't really see anything wrong with this.

I'll hang back till next week to see where we are with management (which is THE most important goal at the moment) before moaning, however I do want further information on shareholder investment.

The most important point for me, which is what today was all about, is to sell as many season tickets as possible.

  11. Shouldnt we be going mental now, Im sure we were due to hear the smoking gun story, or is that being saved for the next board crisis?

I could be wrong but isnt the scrutiny your complaining about exactly the daily fodder expressed by the guardians of openness, honesty and a nice wee line in knock off shirts. Surely we all agree that vigilance is key, or is that something else that can be sacrificed now the key players have ties and brogues..

    Oh dear.

What am I meant to be going mental about?

We need a good management team, that's the first goal of the close season, if that doesn't start to materialise next week then I'll be the first to moan.

  12. This thread is embarrassing, some amount of crackpots on here.....

I only wish those scrutinising the current board so much had taken as much interest with the previous board. Wait till they realise what those cunts got upto, they'll go mental.

Personally, I'm not overly enthused how the new board have performed in the last 3 month but that's probably the longest period we've had in the last 4 years that some dodgy fucker hasn't been paid off.

I renewed my ST tonight, if the mentalists don't like the current board of directors that much then feel free not to attend Ibrox. Do we now get to call you rhebels, or blue taigs? etc etc ;)

It's time people grew up and stopped the ridiculous us versus them nonsense, it only damages Rangers but they don't care about that, don't they?

  13. I understand how you feel but at the same time, did you ever think this shower of shite had it in them?

I'm typically pessimistic but it's helped me not get too upset. We've sat watching utter dross all season from players who don't deserve to be paid what they have been. This has been coming all season. My hope is that we completely change the team and scouting/coaching setup and rebuild proper.

If we don't then King et al, should be booted
