  1. Wish people would fuck up with the tranny shit. I get why people don't like the tartan army, but slagging our national costume is pathetic.
  2. Maggie Zav never sang in the black bull. She's a few doors down thank fuck!
  3. Yes for me. Don't care who a player supports. If they can do a job for Rangers that's all that matters. Needs to be pay per play for someone with his injuries. That said, he'd be looking for too much to justify in the 3rd division
  4. I'm nervous. That's as far as my prediction goes!
  5. Accepted the ticket office have done wrong here, but somewhere a bear who could have had his seat for 20 years for all we know has just been told they've made a mistake and gave his seat away. Maybe he's surrounded by his family in that seat. Even if he's not he's got to know everyone around him as you do when you've got a season ticket. I get that you've paid your money and that maybe 12k folk haven't renewed, but this guy has renewed and due to an error he could lose his seat. At the end of the day, he wants to renew and it's his seat. You should accept that and find seats elsewhere in the ground. You'll still be able to see the gers. Even if you don't have an arm rest.
  6. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the club possibly won't endorse any site that lets you talk about killing Fenians or killing anyone else for that matter.could be wrong though.
  7. Huistra, I reckon you'd attract a bigger audience by specialising and focussing on the gers. If people want world news there's Reuters, NBC, CNN,bbc, and hundreds of other options. If they want rangers news they're unlikeylt to sign up for a feed that has some rangers news in amongst the world news you manage to report.
  8. About to leave. For work. Gutted. Amazing job by the bears today though. Well done all!
  9. Am I missing something here? I've popped south for a look and we've still got a queue of around 200 with people still joining. Copland office has a small queue and a steady stream. Demand is way outdoing expectations. A good news story for a change in Scottish football and about a mile from BBC and stv studios. Where is the media coverage of this good news? If there were queues a quarter of this outside Pittodrie for 'sell out saturday' there would have been cameras there.
  10. January 18, 2010: Footballer’s fiancée Amy Macdonald has used her Facebook page to stick the boot into Rangers goalkeeper Allan McGregor, who is being investigated by police over a claim he sexually assaulted a woman. The singer described McGregor as a “compete cretin” and a “twat”. Not a rapist, or even close. Although it was just after he was in the news for sexual assault claim against him. To be honest, I'm sure he's been called worse by bears since he showed how much of a Rangers man he was a few months ago.
  11. Dunno if radio stations care too much about their viewing figures to be honest.
  12. Www.tvcatchup.com for live free view. They've got apps for Android and ios too. Can watch stv on there too, just set your region. Great app, especially for the Olympics with all the BBC channels!
  13. Rangers introduction to Scottish football. Cunt.
  14. "with my hand on my heart"!
  15. What a night at ibrox that first leg was. Both Parma games are some of the best atmospheres I've ever seen for us. And watching Barry orchestrate the midfield at that stage in his career showed what a class act he was. Still seems strange to look back at a time when players like reyna and albertz could struggle to hold down a place in our team.
  16. Where is this pub in sunny beach? Heading there for the first time in 12 days!
  17. Agreed. Jig, Alexander (pay cut required?!), Broadfoot (never thought I'd say that), give us experience to lead the youngsters. We can pick up players with experience in the lower leagues as we go.
  18. The idiots in charge of Scottish football could barely organise a vote to decide what league we're in for about two months. There's no way there will be a new SPL 2 arranged within a couple of weeks. And the SFL1 clubs would all turn down an invite anyway. The SFL now have one of the big 2 (the bigger one) what incentive do they have to jump ship to the SPL? Their share of an increasingly small pot of tv money?
  19. I'll say it again. We need to be sustainable. The RFFF should not be used for everyday expenses like wages.
  20. Goian is 31. Boca is 33. Assuming we're back in 3 years minimum we could have spent about £3 million in wages on two players in the lower league so that we have a centre back pairing with a combined age of 71. I'm all for loyalty, but there needs to be a balance. Jig for example will play for us for a decent wage given the level we'll be playing imo. Players like Wallace would be great to hang on to, possibly loaning him out to a club that will pay his wages would work. But any club that wants him could make us an offer at we're not in a position to refuse. I agree there's a need for experienced players to bring on the youth, but there are experienced players already playing in the lower leagues who could do that job for us, possibly a better job than players who have no experience in the lower leagues.
  21. Realism. We are likely a third division club. We need to be a viable business moving forward and paying out more in wages than an SPL club while in SFL3 is not viable.
  22. We should be generating funds from season tickets regardless of which players remain. We are Rangers no matter what 11 players have the jersey on. Better to bring in the season ticket money and not have any players taking out more in a week than every other player in the division put together earns in a month.
  23. Goian is confirming he's out the door, but we need the other high earners to follow him if we ever get 100% confirmation we're in division 3. We have a chance to cut our cloth according to whatever division we're in each season. Only pay for the standard of player we need to get promoted each season and, hopefully run a surplus from gate receipts that we can bank for our return to the SPL. We don't need players like Goian, Wallace, etc to get out of division 3 and in 3 years (minimum) we can build on whatever youngsters we manage to develop in the lower leagues.
  24. Fair enough to those who can't forgive any of the players who have walked away, but... Let's stop all this revisionist bollocks where people are claiming the players were never much good anyway. Mcgregor is one of the many excellent keepers we've had over the last 20 years and all the crap getting spouted on this thread claiming he's overrated is embarrassing. Especially when you compare it to the (deserved) hero worship he's received from us in recent years. Same goes for those focusing on Naismiths injuries rather than some of the performances he put in for us.
