Llorente to Spurs for around £15m. Not bad considering the market madness.

Backwards move from Hearts. Least we'll get more laughs from them this season

Taking celebration shenanigans to another level. I mean, imagine celebrating beating Partick with a late winner

Knew exactly where to go for his first goal and took it well. Was also impressed with Millers lay off for him.

Did Celtic count WW2 titles? I think it's daft but I do agree the players who did win them should be giving some sort of credit.
From what I gather noone counts titles won during WW2. The taigs won 3 during WW1 I think, but we also won one too. These are counted. The league was officially open during WW1 and not WW2, so to me its a non-issue

We won a title during WW1 which we count. WW2 the league was suspended and no titles are recognised. It's not hard to understand.

Taigs are obsessed with getting Tierney's boyfriend back up for him
Roberts is pretty skilful but other than that he's nothing special tbh
Unless Man City are selling him, then it makes no sense to go to them for a 3rd season. They either keep him or loan him to a better standard of league. And as you say, hes not all that anyway.

Thanks for the memories. Seems a good lad, we just need a bit better at this time.

I was praying this thread would open up. Times like this I wish I used Twitter

Sounds like the SPFL tried everything they could to pin something on us. From a vague 'bringing the game into disrepute' charge to trying to say the sins of oldco are the problems of newco now.
Roon ye!

Rod Petrie has just said the new board will review Rangers' use of EBTs.
If we didnt already know, pretty clear what Petries priority is. Couldnt wait to announce a review could he.

Considering hes brought 9 in, id say he has more onside than not

Szczesny joined Juve as well? Did he have a good season at Roma then?
From what I saw or read he was pretty good for them. Still think Juve could've done better though

The media outrage over the bottle throwing seems to have died down since the thumb got charged

Always keep an eye on Arsenal. Bergkamp was my dads favourite non-Rangers player so stuck with them. Like Juve aswell due to Del Piero being one my favourite players growing up.

Can't ask for much more than that

John Robertson of Hearts always sticks in my mind. Probably wouldnt have made the step up, but always seemed to bang in goals for them.

John Terry to sign for Aston Villa in the next 24 hours.
Bit of a strange one that. Not wanting to play abroad and not wanting to play against Chelsea hasn't left him with many options.
I heard around £100K a week mentioned by other clubs so you'd think Villa must be offering the same.

Former Celtic star Joe Miller has retracted remarks about Linfield FC, saying he "got the grounds mixed up".
In an interview last week with Scottish media, he had recalled an incident during a friendly match in the 1990s, when he was playing for Aberdeen.
He claimed that during the match, which he said was played in Windsor Park, “there were red dots on us for the whole 90 minutes”.
He also stated that he and some of his teammates were abused outside a pub near the ground.
On Monday, Linfield FC released a statement clarifying that the club has never played Aberdeen.
Linfield hit out at ex-Celtic player's claims of laser dots and intimidation at Windsor Park
The club also noted that, in the 1990s, Windsor Park was "wholly enclosed from any surrounding streets" and "there remains a distinct lack of local hostelries in the area adjacent to the ground".
On Tuesday, the paper which published the original article, the Daily Record, said it contacted Mr Miller to clarify his story.
Mr Miller said his memory had let him down: it had been a training match, not a friendly, and he'd made a mistake about where it had taken place.
He told the paper: “During an interview last week with several members of the Scottish press I recounted an event but I got the grounds mixed up. I realise that now. I mistakenly thought it was Windsor Park but it wasn’t.
“This event occurred over 25 years ago and my memory has let me down.
"I apologise to Linfield football Club for any offence taken. These comments weren’t intended to be a slight on the club or their fans.”
You're still a wanker Joe

When Hibs inevitably need to sell, he will struggle and self implode. Blaming bigots, refs or whoever else for his decision to leave.
