For those who are worried about paying for tickets but not attendeding going against them then don't. It would be near enough impossible to do that because the clubdeck was closed for the group matches and paper tickets were issued in other parts of the stadium for season ticket holders that sit in clubdeck. Easy enough to keep tabs on wether a card has been activitated for a match but a lot more difficult to do it with ticket stubs that probably get shredded after the match.

Let's hope you are correct, as I sit in CD3 and went to both the home games via a paper ticket issued to me

  2. I voted No. What's the point?

As some have stated earlier, serious injuries or worse will happen (probably to a Bear/s), before this issue is taken seriously. The SFA and SPFL have seen the evidence of what's gone on before and ignored the pattern that's developing, and any blood spilled will be on their hands. And plod will need to take a look at their role in proceedings if this situation arises.

  3. Agree with you completely. No matter what the manager says about the standard of the Premiership, the standard is a lot higher, and every team in it has a burning hatred of us. The team have now awakened to this, and if not for bad finishing yesterday we would have walked with the points.

It's time for calm heads while we adjust to this level, and I trust the manager to ring the changes required in time. However I will never criticise a man for showing a bit of loyalty and giving folk a chance to prove themselves.

Good will? The game is changing and we're in danger of being left behind. Where's the good will gonna be when we're back to playing back to front with overpaid journey men and "rangers men" and the rest of the footballing world is knocking it around while we chase shadows? In my opinion, its now or never. The bubble in football is going to burst and the only clubs that wont get dragged under completely are those that can sustain a style pleasing to the eye with players that didn't or don't command huge transfer fees salaries.

All of this change should have been started 4 years ago. We blew the opportunity. Now we have another with a guy who actually knows how to implement that change and we're gonna chase him because the tattie howkers are ahead of us in the league?

We've seen what he can do in a year and as far as Im concerned he's got another year (10 months now).

Exactly, we need to look long term just now. We also need to acknowledge that it's the players who aren't good enough, rather than any tactical issues. However you get what you pay for, and we are on a shoestring budget unfortunately.

Predicting a long hard season does not mean MW is the wrong manager. Patience is required to see if he can get us out of this - and he will be the stronger for this - our fans underestimating how easy this league was going to be is one problem he has to overcome and giving him the year or two we might need is another. I think he will be fine but many like yourself panicking already!

On the money with this post. The impatience from the stands is also having a negative effect on field too.

I've been watching Rangers since 1962 but I would say the best defenders I have seen were Jardine, Gough, Butcher and Numan.

If my old man was here he would throw in names like Young, Woodburn and Cox. It's all about different generations.

I started going to Ibrox in 1977 but was only 4 at the time. Unfortunately I can't remember the likes of Jardine that well
