Anyone else notice at our throw ins in the last quarter Hill was standing at the front post. Drawing defenders to mark him and therefore allowing us to lump the ball into the box without being offside. Nice to see if we get anywhere with it but it looks kinda sensible to take advantage of not being offside from a throw in.

He has his team in place No2 Helder Baptista, fitness coach Pedro Malta and goalkeeping coach Jose Belman, He wants to add someone to his staff that will help with the "Rangers/Scottish culture. Whoever this is will not be his number 2, so I'm thinking it won't happen till the summer where Kenny will take the 20's full time and Murty will be the one. He was there yesterday providing that support and I think will continue to do so. However a pseudo Scotsman who has played all his career in England and only been with us for 18months isn't exactly fitting the bill. So I might be talking pish (as usual)

Hardly a square ball played all game. Small adjustments like Waggy sitting in and Waldo a bit more active. Looked like subs were for tiredness reasons and not just to give everyone a game. Small but effective. It was Hamilton though, bigger tests to come.

I think Barton could see first hand what we all thought about training/game prep etc And looking back, he acted out what we all would have done at training or in the dressing room and rattled a few cages and booted a few baws he should be retrospectively applauded

It's fair to say he's not a fan of "tippy tappy " football. I think it will be back to the front as quickly and aggressively as possible- including long balls from the keeper.
