  1. I think the long ball is part of the game, when used effectively it can be used well on the counter attack etc. Its when it creeps into the team psyche that it is a "first" option we should start worrying. I really don't think it's Ally's game of choice - it is players with poor skills or no confidence to use the midfield that end up humping it up the park, a tactic Broadfoot used too often today as he was unable to think of anything else. Like an earlier poster said teams in the lower divisions I think are used to these tactics - we should be looking for a wide player who can still use our front men as targets but from a better attacking area of the park.
  2. I posted this in another thread so my apologies for "cross posting"( The test of a good player I think starts with the following: 1.A passion 2.A fitness level, second to none 3.An ability (bred, DNA whatever) 4.A brilliant attitude Add to that mix 5.A training regime developed by coaches at the top of their game 6.Facilities that are world class that even a boaby like me could excel with! That, in my opinion, is the test of a good player NOT who he plays against week in week out. At 11yrs old Messi (points 1-4 above) was playing against other 11yr old’s and River Plate knew he was special and took him on (add in points 5 and 6) = arguably the greatest player in the world! I bet you in our travels amongst the lower Scottish leagues we come up against talented Scottish youngsters never on the radar before (points 1-4 above) - and at some point we will say to each other - “he’s not a bad wee player”. I bet you we will see talent that cuntybaws Levein will never see and quite frankly is not the least bit interested in keeping an eye on; as he prefers his addiction to looking at talent in the Arse end of English football, double checking Grannies birth certificates. The talent we see, in our long journey, may indeed end up with us at the Famous Glasgow Rangers (points 5 and 6) and we will be better for it, stronger for it and more humble for it. If these players are picked for Scotland as a result – then I will sing their name till my lungs burst wearing my Scotland top, as they are the result of Glasgow Rangers not the fuckwit in charge of the Scotland team who could not pick the snotter from his nose..... Remember – we are chosen.

  4. I have been a proud Scotland fan all my life... I say with a heavy heart that I will never feel like that again. Never
  5. Deffo... the league only finished in May. all of a sudden Lee Wallace is not fit to play for Scotland Does he start playing poorly because of where he is! doubt it. take this scenario.... Rangers Hump everyone in sight...including knocking the scum out the cup... would Levein swallow his dry boak and call a few up DOUBT IT! cos the man is a complete and utter waste of space and cant think past keeping his bosses tight. Wallace would be Wallace wherever he played, McGregor is McGregor even in Turkey!!!
  6. There might be a thread elsewhere discussing this topic - but does playing in the 3rd div automatically make Lee Wallace a pish player? Surely by virtue of the headline and article (shit as it is btw) http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/scotland/9456258/Craig-Levein-says-it-will-be-difficult-for-Rangers-players-to-make-step-up-to-Scotland-but-refuses-to-close-door.html# good players are good players despite the opposition! The difference is that we have had players "drop" into this league - I think that there is a big dry boak from Levein when considering including a player who is now plying his trade in a league other than the sphell.
  7. Yea i heard him spouting his shite...... It did spark a bit of a debate as both Trayner and cosgrove were discussing the merits of fan's forums, they also acknowledge that they were "duped" by that manic fuckwit.... Fair doos to them they dealt with it as best they could (given their 3 brain cells)
  8. have you changed your name just for this thread?

  13. Dont agree about feeling insecure.....far from it - just trying to ram some small "fuck yous" down their throats for being fuckwwits. I dont agree either that we should wage a war .... But small changes keep them on their toes.... The lazy bastards
  14. ya dirty sausage supper, could ye go a boabby supper chicken sands...
  15. and did I not read he would "do the same for smellik if they were in the same predicament" - he can keep his offer... we might need to increase our squad but FFS....

  18. er...... no.... why? MMmmm! twas a (true) tale worth posting on a forum for the amusement of others....... doubting thomas
  19. I have just had a hilarious chat with a smellik fanny at work - he was going on about the "fish and chip" cup and how we were all getting "salt" in our wounds playing in the Ramsdens Cup..... he was thinking (in his gypsy brain) that the purveyor of those well known Fish and Chips suppers was actually sponsoring the "Ramsdens Cup" instead of the Gold Digger business - he was absolutely slaughtered on the spot by all in sundry .... women, children everyone..... it was a sight to behold... class in a glass... a grown man crying... I only posted cos it made me pee my pants laughing.... (and please no one post a reply actually linking the two as I think that is what he is doing on tinternet right now)
  20. and then spouting forth about saving his "ham shank" for later! (oooops I've gone too far!) anyway there must be a puch line in waiting here to the OP's script? anyone fancy a go? "There were these three men in a pub - a moaning faced fat hak, a greedy sly shark and a man with a big blue nose............"
