If we got £2m total for all of them, we would have probably made a loss after you take into account the wages, agents fees etc. We didnt lose that much from them leaving early, in fact i would be so bold to say they saved us money. The part i bolded simple isnt true man. Look at edu and what he left for, and the others we shipped out on loan or let go. They would have crippled us if they all tuped over and sat on their contracts.

The fact is if they all came over and didnt leave, we would have had some job paying all those wages. the club couldnt force them to leave, in a perverse kind of way they done us a favour. Look at Edu , Boca, goian. We had a panic to offload them just to get them off the wage bill. I think all we got was 300k or so for Edu. That 300k probably only covered a chunk of his wage since he tuped over and never kicked a ball. They all had cheap release fees inserted in their contracts, so we didnt lose as much as some people think. Too many people wish ill on them without really knowing all the facts.
