In regard to his statement about the spl commision, what else is he supposed to say? Come take all our titles, while we bend over? Why the fuck would he care if we lost any titles? Is he a lifelong fan? Does he understand the importance of them to us? I would guess no to any of the above. He cares, because we care. He'll be long gone, maybe as soon as next year, and we'll be left to clear up another shit storm. Im not convinced the boycotting of the commission is the best route for us to take, if hes got something to say, go in there and say it to them. Hes already said he has utmost confidence in the integrity of the panel. This defence of its not my problem guvnor, will only lead to a shit load of trouble 2/3 years down the line when we come back to spl level. Im 100% convinced that all his patter is just for us to think hes fighting the good fight and part with more dough for the share issue and after he will ride into the sunset with his nice wee bonus on his hip, while all of us are left to clear up the war zone he is going to leave behind.

This was missed by the majority of course, because most of us only hear what we want to hear. He also said that every decision was for the benefit of the club even if its unpopular with supporters. You could argue that letting the fans decide on our future participation in the spl could be to the detriment of the club. I appreciate he gets put on the spot by reporters, and he cant be as concise in a "live" interview as opposed to a scripted speech, but he is all over the place in terms of his vision and intentions for the club. Sadly, the majority of us have been caught hook, line and sinker by his shite patter.

Our players are technically inferior to almost every foreign team we play. It doesnt matter who the manager is, the problem lies much deeper than who picks the first 11. As much as Levein is a terrible tactician, i doubt any other man could do much better with the players we have to choose from. Im not sure why the english are finding it all so funny, because they have the exact same problem, only they a have better variety of clogger to choose from, and generally an easier group to try fight through. Add in to that the Welsh result and things are looking pretty bleak for our style of football. The problem on this little island, is winning is everything, even from a young age. This gets you good U21 teams, but when you get to the very top level, the gap in quality, touch and control of the ball is embarrassing. I remember being a youth and being a wee short ass who wasnt the strongest, and often getting subbed/dropped because the manager preferred to play a big stupid 12 stone inbred instead of a more skillful player. I think your attitude would change if your mortgage was £5k a month and you had a wag to keep in lipstick and shoes. I doubt very much you would pay Rangers to play for us. You insult the intelligence of the people of our country if you think we couldnt organise all the things that are needed to be independent. The thing is, if people dont like Salmond, or his policies, then its not difficult to vote him out after we are independent. The reason he has so much power at the moment is because none of the english based parties give two fucks for Scotland.
