Well it's not clearly a ploy but you could be right. What worries me slightly is that selling a player in January might have been a stitch in time and perhaps now 2 will have to go in the Summer (after the season tickets have been sold) I quite like this as far as conspiracy theories go.... it is a neat explanation as to why a man with Murrays business acumen would reveal his hand so early in the window... why you tell the world that anyone is available and we only need 3 million to assist the cash flow doesn't make sense to any of us amateurs so maybe it was nothing more than a smokescreen to have us all breathing a collective sigh of relieef that no-one left rather than protesting because no-one arrived. If that is the case, it has worked a charm I agree, ive been saying this since the minute i heard Murray make the statement that we needed £3-£4 million urgently. No way does a business man of his stature require this small amount urgently. By selling top players he would be risking the league and therefore risking £10 million champions league money!!!! I agree , the only way to beat Celtic is to rip right into them hence why we beat them in first game and why Aberdeen beat them last week. Tactics used by walter against Aberdeen will see us beaten by celtic by the odd goal. I fear the one up front tactic will be employed!!!! hope im wrong.

I have always defended Murray....right up until his comments yesterday that we need £3mill to balance the books by selling Boyd?????????? Something is far wrong at our club if this is what we really have to do? Why does a guy with his money have to sell the top striker to raise £3mill to balance the books.??? He must think we are daft..well suppose we have been over last few years to go along with it. For anyone who has followed football for any length of time you wil know that to have a successful team you need a stable balanced one. Mr Murray wants stable balanced books!! I personally dont think you can have both in football if you want to be winners you have to spend.
