    Top job, Kittel Have really enjoyed it this year, wonder if Nibali would have had enough to win if Froome and Contador had stayed in? Pretty good performance by Astana all round. Roll on the Vuelta!

    You would end up with punters having a few drinks and not taking their seat to watch the game. See it quite a lot at the English games I go to. Some of them would be better just staying in the pub watching the scores come in.

    Leave Wiggo alone, I think the guy's great. He came across really well in that Sky doc 'À Year in Yellow" I think it was called. Nibali nearly free wheeled up that climb yesterday.

    That's depressing. Mate in work who's big into his cycling was doing his nut today at the thought of Valverde winning the tour due to his doping past. Sagan 2nd again today - great bike rider.

    I'm not even sure if I'm depressed about that. Only really got into watching cycling since the 2009 Lance comeback tour ironically. Mental sport but absolutely compelling. Surely Team Sky aren't at it or is the 'marginal gains' bullshit precisely that?
