The Only reason that Arsenal haven't won a trophy in the last 8 years is paying for a new stadium and sticking to a strict financial plan. The clubs debt is almost at 0 and they have new sponsorships coming into effect. Its a fact if Arsenal had spent what Chelsea have over the past 8 years they would win silverware but they havent. Football is cyclical. Arsenal have had a dip because of the new stadium which is all but paid off, i think now will be the start of an upward cycle.
