  1. I reckon a new centre half is a must buy. A big ugly no frills bastard of a centre half. Some of you will disagree, but I reckon Cribari is a decent player. Comfortable with the ball at his feet etc. But he need a big old school centre half next to him to do the dirty work. Much the same for Heggarty. Take Big Marvin. Limited player, used his strengths, made Boumsong look good. I also don't think there is a 'lead' centre half in our team, to do the talking and help the others through the game.
  2. The noose is tightening and the domino effect about to gather pace. At one time I would have felt sympathy for any fan whose club was in financial strife. Not now. Not for the kicking they gave our prostate body in our time of need. OUR time has started to come already.
  3. Third Division or not, we are still the BIGGEST most INFLUENTIAL team in the land........
  4. NEW TWIST IN OSCAR PISTORIAS CASE - Rangers Shot Reeva Steenkamp through the cludgie door.......
  5. Someone needs to let the Royal television Society know that the documentary which has just been awarded best Nations and Regions Current Affairs and News Event was in actual fact based on fantasy, a bit of a witch-hunt and indeed has since been discredited! Or does my understanding of the word 'journalism' differ from everyone elses.....! "Judges said the programme, presented by reporter Mark Daly, was "a superb piece of investigative reporting". The awards ceremony was held in London on Wednesday evening. The jury praised the programme for "presenting a complex story of financial chicanery, personal ambition and sporting hubris in a compelling and dramatic manner." Who were the fucking judges? Liewell, Rhegan, Lennon?? Phil whatevvertherepublicanfuckhecallshimself?? Unbelievable.
  6. Just thinking about some of the players we have had who regardless of how distinguished or otherwise their Ibrox careers were, they'll always be remembered for one goal against the Bheasts.... - Bert Konterman - Ugo Ehiogu - Nigel Spackman - Ray Wilkins - Jonas Thern - Tam Forsyth - Kai Johansen There must be a few more to add to the list..........
  7. Konterman will always be a legend for one goal at Hampden.
  8. Who cares. It happened ina tainted league to a team we don't really care about and with no effect on us.
  9. I agree. He was one of many players to look good on paper, show some touches but just struggle with Scottish Football. Capucho is the same. Jeffers is probably the worst of the lot mentioned on this post. A bawhair ahead of Ostenstadt.
  10. An interesting read. Makes you wonder how many other clubs are operating in this manner? For example, has anyone looked closely at the small Glasgow club claiming to have reduced their debt to almost nil despite a significant reduction in TV money and bums on seats? It also makes you wonder why the media are still only interested in the finances of one club? Surely, in the name of sporting integrity........
  11. The fine may have been issued against Whyte, I hope you are right, but I still have a nagging fear that the SFA will move the goalposts on this one.
  12. Read the other week the story regarding the SFA's plans to sue Craig Whyte. As much as I would love to see that prick lose his assets and down and out, I just don't have enough faith in the SFA's rule making capabilities for them to make their fines and sanctions stick in a court of law. Obviously the illegal transfer embargo sets a precedent here. So, in (and more likely) when the action fails in court what will be the SFA's next course of action? The way I see it they are a members association trying to impose a sanction on someone who is not one of their members and with no link to any of their members. So, does this make the Oldco responsible for paying Mr Whyte's fine? Will the SFA join the list of creditors to claim their 'debt'. My fear is that they will suddenly make up their own rules, impose their fucked up logic that the Newco is liable for Oldco debts (a stance which only works one way when sums due are leaving the account and not when they are due to be deposited) and screw Rangers over by trying to recover the fine from Charlie's coffers. As I said, a precedent has been set.
