  1. Apparently Glen is a better player than Perry........
  2. Been to watch Alloa a good few times as my home town team. Also, have a soft spot for East Stirlingshire having been to a good few games with a mate of mine. The main attraction being a day out on the drink. Now living in Belfast, managed a few trips to see Glentoran as the closest team to where I live. A team with good cultural morales! However, should any of the above teams come up against Rangers, there can only be one team which matters.
  3. Surely if there is a sectarian or bigotted undertone to this song it would have been picked up or even made up by now.
  4. Played in an incredible number of cup finals as 2nd choice keeper. Never let us down at any time as reserve or 1st choice keeper. Good luck to him.
  5. So Is ee an article headlined "SPL helping resolve Richard Brittain registration dispute" 2 points: 1. how much of an arse will they make of this? 2. how will they pin this on Rangers?
  6. Had he stayed I have no doubt he would have become more of a regular in the first season however who knows what option he would have taken when we hit administration - chances are he may have cleared out along with Naismith, Whittaker, MacGregor et al..............
  7. Wait on them going bust and pick up any decent players free. If it was good enough for us (with players of infinitely more value) then it is good enough for them.
  8. Agreed. I think we can and should help these teams. Do what we can to spread some wealth in the game - somethign that those 'running' the game seem unable to do.
  9. The 'Shire and Annan are the first two clubs to make public their opposition to the SPFHell and have had the integrity and baws to vote against it. These are 2 sides who may be vulnerable to the effects when the false promises made by the cabal fail to come to fruition and they may no doubt end up in a worse position than under the SFL regime. Considering the welcome these two teams rolled out for the Rangers - both supporters and the club as a whole - I think as Rangers fans these are two teams we should make a concerted effort to assist where possible. Should we draw either in any of the cups: at home we should certainly make an effort to fill the stadium as a recognition of these teams integrity; or if it is away make sure we fill the ground and spend a bit of cash when there - programmes, pies and even merchandise. Also, why not head along to their grounds when we either have a free Saturday or you are unable to get to an away game due to limited tickets? Just a though. Feeel free to agree or disagree.
  10. The knock on tghe the SPL (or should that eb SPFL) could be big. Hertz out the game (or at least relegated), Dundee relegated. Rangers a couple of years away from returning. Why would Sky pay anything of note for a leage with none of the flag-ship derby matches?
  11. True. But not as reckless as the BBC website gossip column. Despite there being no focus on this in the Record's article above, it's link to the story leads on the fact that Prior is from an 'Irish-Catholic background'. Reckless journalism trying to discredit a potential investor in the eyes of the support. They obviously don't realise that the majority of fans have moved on from worrying about this type of thing. I personally only care if the investor has the right motives for investing and the good of the club is a priority.
  12. I would be all for a single unified body though - including the SFA. However, this would only be workable of the corrupt cabal running the organisations were shipped out and replaced by more fair minded, independent individuals. Under the current 'administration' I reckon it just adds strength to the anti-Rangers brigade.
  13. And suddenly it would appear we will be donald ducked on the 'trialist' rule............
  14. They are family friendly though. In the same way Jim'll Fix It was a family show..............
  15. Good read D'Art. I can't help but be disgusted at anyone who perpetrates an agenda against charitable causes who are working to assist those in need - regardless of who they are. The work that Scottish football clubs do as a whole to contribute to charities and their communities is essential. Now, it would be an understatement to say I do not like Celtic and all they stand for. But that is a football thing - to damage and besmirch the charitable operations undertaken by that or any club is as low as a worm's bawbag. The real losers are the recipients of the funds raised so good luck to anyone raising funds for charity regardless of the banner they fly under. But surely there is a real irony that those who are pushing an agenda against the Founders Trail and Charity Foundation claim to support a club which likes to tell anyone with ears that it was founded as a charitable organisation.
  16. I suppose when you don't work, don't waste time washing or anything frivalous like that and get free stamps and envelopes from the job seekers you have to make use of all of this somehow. It is only logical that you would become obsessed with the biggest show in town.
  17. Not only is this further proof of an agenda against Rangers, it is also another disregard of the legal structures of this land. The SFA are acting like an out of control banana republic and someone needs to reel them in.
  18. I think Rangers marketing let Linfield down rather than the fans. There was hardly any promotion of this match.
  19. So, Stokes alledgedly is involved in perpetrating an unprovoked serious assault in Dublin. The Sun run a a fairly high profile story covering this issue. The BBC website runs an 'unnamed player' story relating to ''an Irish player based in Britain" The Daily Record prints......eh......a story about Celtic's next world beating signing and some shite about Gary Ralston having a go on a mountain bike. Let us consider for a minute how the same story would have been covered had it been a Rangers player lifted. Just another example of the propoganda machine that is sweeping the bad news under the carpet in one end of the city and over hyping even the merest fart in the other.....
  20. I thought all clubs wanted to get rid of the 11-1 voting structure which allowed for 2 clubs to control the game? Did we not hear clubs celebrating that Rangers 'demise' was an opportuinity to redress this? Looks like the Annan Chairman is the only one voicing concern at this. And the danger is - without Rangers in a position as one of the clubs using this voting structure to our benefit, there is surely an opportunity for that devious bastard Liewell to further strengthen the bigotted, self serving agenda that is 'the C*ltic Way'.
  21. Back on topic, Rhona Martin - the Olympic Gold Medallist at the curling. Another notable fan.
  22. Sorry - tried to make an ironic suggestion of Rod Stewart with a photo attachement of him resplendant in the '70s strip alongside John Greig. Didn't seem to work.....
  23. This must further discredit the BBC 'documentary'. If it is possible to discredit it further. Will the BBC issue an apology?
