  1. You can also find pictures from 76 ish when we won a treble so must have done some good
  2. I posted it this time because it always gets brought up. However I can understand it as a basic fitness aid , just like running round the pitch, which has to be complimented by more modern methods.
  3. I have to partially agree. I see him every couple of weeks. He is a superb defensive midfielder, breaking up so many attacks by just being in right place at right time. He is however , imo, limited going forward for the most part and rarely poses a goal threat. There is also the problem caused by most of the team thinking everything needs to go through him, ignoring many options to break forward but instead always looking to pass to Rice. To be in the top class of midfielders he really need to do more offensively to match his defensive work. Souness did an opinion piece recently stating pretty much the same and he should know what it takes to be a top midfielder.
  4. Mate it wasn’t really a serious idea ,more a jokey comment. I have no clue at all about sports conditioning but I’m sure we can all agree they looked second best fitness wise so something needs doing to sort it
  5. Let’s hope he has the same success he had at the sheep
  6. Don’t remember much of him as a player but remember him well as the manager of Morton. He basically had wrecked knees for most of his life though taking those injections to play.
  7. Can’t remember much before big John . In my time watching I would say great captains included Greig Butcher Gough Ferguson Others were great players but don’t think of them as great captains
  8. If he didn’t have pace he’d be lucky to play for Motherwell or Dundee Hibs
  9. Not what I meant. I was answering a post stating they aren’t as good as the Rodger’s team. My response was they still are very consistent and win games even when they played shit. Not really talking about today. We have lost about 5 league games out of our last 100 or so but are still behind. They drop very few points . That’s what I meant
  10. They are just as consistent and still win games even if they’re shit.
  11. Unfortunately this shite is far too common in football today. Everybody seems more concerned with not losing the ball than actually trying to make a forward pass.
  12. Too late. We have to chase it and will probably get sliced apart when we go up the park
  13. 2 mins into 2nd half and it’s obvious we need to change something midfield
  14. Probably because we know fuck all about it and our scouting network doesn’t work
  15. We had a decent first 30 mins or so then fell right out it near the half time break. Need to step it up 2nd half
  16. What the hell are we talking about here ?
