  1. It was busy enough when I passed it.
  2. They are only interested in 3boysandabaw, it would seem. And it begins again...........
  3. Rangers Supporters Trust and Newcastle United Trust -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This weekend sees a series of events to tie in with the game against Newcastle United this coming Saturday. SUPPORTERS MATCH This weekend will see the Trusts play one another at football, jointly welcome a group of Royal Marines to Ibrox and have a NUST Board member describe their experiences at a meeting on Sunday. The Newcastle United Supporters Trust (NUST) has accepted an invitation from the Rangers Supporters Trust (RST) to join them in a members football kick-about of our own at the Ibrox Complex prior to the friendly match on August 7th followed by hospitality in the Wee Rangers Club. The supporters match kicks off at 9am. The “big” Rangers/NUFC game is a 1pm kick off. The Training complex is situated adjacent to the main stand at Ibrox and the Wee Rangers Club can be located just next to the stadium at the end given over to away supporters and in the words of RST "is a fantastic venue for pre and post match drinks, they serve food and kids are welcome and downstairs they have a Rangers /party DJ on entertaining the crowds". The game is kindly sponsored by The Captain’s Armband memorabilia shop at 261 High Street, Glasgow - www.thecaptainsarmband.com ROYAL MARINES TO BE GUEST OF THE TRUST 20 Royal Marines from 45 Commando will be guests of the Trust in the Wee Rangers Club before and after the match. Learning of the visit Rangers Football Club stepped in and has made available 20 free tickets for the troops from the True Colours scheme. The lads - including a contingent of Geordies! - will be housed in the Broomloan Road stand for the game. NEWCASTLE TRUST MEETING IN GLASGOW On Sunday morning Steve Hastie from NUST will address a meeting in the Wee Rangers Club at 11am before heading down the road. Steve will explain the background to the formation of NUST, how it operates and how it has managed to sign up 33,000 members on the net. Like Rangers, Newcastle have a major shareholder willing to sell but unable to move on ownership so there are a lot of lessons Bears can learn from the Geordies. Admittance is free and open to all interested Rangers and Newcastle fans whether they are signed-up Trust members or not.
  4. Shock, horror. A book about Rangers fans written by a Rangers fan. I'm sure he won't miss and hit the wall.
  5. No he didn't. You and I did. Who wrote the cheques for Advocaat's spending?
  6. Nope, no replies but I am hoping those who emailed SD, Rangers and the CST did result in the editing of the article. Of course even that is a cop out and I'm sure Mr Doherty is enjoying being cast aside by his Trust colleagues this morning as they attempt to prevaricate over their own website's content. It is interesting that the media (who are well aware of this issue) have largely ignored it. I'd imagine if the Rangers Trust had published something similar while talking glibly about the controversial problems of Celtic, it would be newsworthy. When one adds in the sectarian rantings on the borderline insane blogs of Joe O'Rourke at the CSA, suddenly our own fan groups don't see so bad. At least we can hold an open debate while examining our faults and refraining from using tragic events to point-score. Thanks for the reply. I would assume that this topic was also discussed on other Rangers websites, so as you say, the media will have been well aware of the story and have chosen to ignore it. Even though they have re-jigged their article, the CST got the real message they wanted to portray over to the Celtic fans they were targetting, without any widespread adverse publicity to themselves. Why the RST, RSA or the Alliance haven't made an issue out of this is something that I find at best, baffling. I don't think the supporters groups should get into a tit for tat over such a thing as the Ibrox Disaster. The CST has scored an own goal here, they know it and so do we.
  7. The biggest contradiction in The Rangers History. If you do not agree with the ff stance and the RST you are not welcome, that is fact. I don't believe that is true. I've seen lots of posts on FF critical of the RST. Not for long though. The constructive ones stay.
  8. Because that "fellow" bear is an arrogant smug prick. The abuse isn't only aimed at one person. The entire site is corrupt. Don't agree with principles, you are barred. It's still the biggest Rangers site by far. Are you saying all its' users are corrupt?

  11. Why can't people on here concentrate their hatred towards the enemies of the club rather than fellow Bears. Very sad.
  12. amen to that, sick of hearing about this. Presumably those getting on their high horse about this dont go to Rangers pubs as the owners are profitting from their fellow Rangers fans and damaging their health in the process? The irony is that the self same poster started a thread a couple of weeks ago actively promoting a site that sells - you've guessed it - Rangers tee-shirts. He failed to mention to which charity the profits were going. Who, the rabbit or nemisis? Or someone else? Nemisis

  14. Erm except he took over in 1988 and those players were already at the club, not to mention that the rebuilding work started in the 1970's. Ok the club deck, seating in the enclosures and the corners being filled in were done under his watch but as for the rest you are wrong. That or you are fishing. I think so.
  15. I have mate, no luck. Ill keep looking though i should get a second hand one somewhere surely. I have one sitting in my spare room. I've just put batteries in it and it's still in full working order. It's yours if you want it. Send me a PM.
