  1. You're a Plastic Pom with your St George's Cross. It's Rangers and Scotland for me Plastic.
  2. A few folk on here need to calm down. This resolution was raised by a relatively small band of shareholders. The majority shareholders are certain to vote against. Primarily to protect their relationshp with the SFA and also to ensure Old Firm games return sometime soon. It's financial suicide otherwise. The poster is your typical forum flapper getting his knickers in a twist about nothing. Next time the mail arrives you'd better ask your mummy to open it. Otherwise you might end up with a smacked bottom.
  3. Dunfermline fans do seem to favour Celtic and many have a deep dislike of Rangers. I have a cousin from Kelty who is a Pars fan but who cheers on Celtic during Old Firm games. Celtic might acquire several hundred new fans if Dunfermline go bust and I'll therefore refrain from wishing their demise.
  4. The bit in bold is actually correct. It is NOT the job of the LSE to scutinise or judge Reports & Accounts. They merely publish them. It is the role of the financial press and to a greater extent - because we are a football club - the mainstream media. It was no coincidence that the results were published on the day that Barcelona are playing in Scotland. In regards to your point on the share price: the price held firm because the stock market acts more like a barometer than a thermometer. The results were in line with predictions - poor. The mismanagement of funds over the last year has seen the share price half from 98p to 49p (mid-market). Our market capitalisation has halved from £62 million to £31 million in 6 months and this hinders our ability to raise additional funding.
  5. You post prolifically and I don't deed a degree in psychology to work out you backed Green. For a time we all backed Green, but be honest; would you buy a second hand car from the man, or indeed, any of his associates? I'm looking to influence fan backing for change in the boardroom. In my opinion it's essential for tangible and empirical progress. We need men with integrity who are truly interested in the long term future of the club.
  6. I know you're a Green fan however he came out with more bullshit statements than Whyte and Murray combined. A great salesman, a first class rabble rouser, but a bullshitter with purely selfish intentions. Not Rangers class.
  7. A carve up. Where there's money there's corruption. Green and Ahmed made a pretty packet and the Administrators had an extended payday jolly.
  8. I believe our 'real Rangers men' were blocked from taking control. Green was always going to gain preferred bidder status. An inside job. Money to be made all round and the fans - who are the only ones who really care for the club - are the only ones who lose out. The situation we are in is certainly retrievable, but after raising £22 million from the IPO we should be in a much healthier position.
  9. Absolute nonsense. The board knew that the papers would be full of the Celtic v Barca game yesterday. It was a good day to bury bad news alright. You'll have difficulty finding another club in the UK with a larger wage bill ratio in favour of non-playing staff. Chris Graham is a Rangers fan who wants the best for the club. There's no doubt about that. The IPO money should have been used for revenue generation. The new bar will make buttons and the jumbotron screens and wifi will make practically hee-haw. The IPO money has been frittered away by a bunch of charlatans who are taking the piss.
  10. The Vanguard Bears are wasting their time and giving our detractors oxygen and publicity.
  11. There's a lot of bollocks being spoken in this thread. Every share is given a nominal value when issued. It bears no relation to the current share price. If Green can sell his shares in the market for 50p, why would he accept 1p as some are suggesting? Easdale will have paid the market value for his shares - around 50p.
  12. Sandaza got punted for much, much less. It's all very well saying he bet against us in a game we won 4-0, however, if it was 0-0 and their striker was running through in the last minute would Black burst a gut to get back to tackle? I doubt it. Gamblers are inherently greedy, selfish fools.
