I love Arfield have a signed picture on my wall but his times sadly up at us.
Not down to ability work ethic or enthusiasm for the game just because he's done now.
We need scottish influence, with davis and mcgregor going/retiring.
His experience and squad demanding standards is crucial.
The only player we have that is natural to the press and his love for the club.
He still has a part to play, at reduced terms. Which he might accept as his next move is likely a Hearts.
Can ses Scotty going into coaching, possibly player/manager at Falkirk etc.

You’re about to find out why, he was able to leave on a free now he’s not and gladbach and galatasary are looking at him.
there may be a swap deal involving another Romanian should it involve gala
He was not out of contract though?

Id rather get rid of a large percentage of these players than keep them as squad options, ideally our squad options are primarily hungry young players waiting for an opportunity to make the shirt theirs rather than the same culprits who continually let us down, hopefully no less than 12 go in the summer
Hopefully a change of captain too.
Tav can stay for sure, but this needs to be a new dawn.
Would love a proper international centre half to come in as captain. I can dream.

Jack, and Lundstram should be nowhere near the squad next season. Lawrence will be coming back from a year long spell out injured essentially and Hagi we should be look to sell for extra funds.
We gave hagi, a new 3 year contract in the middle of an ACL injury.
Im still trying to think why...

Big, strong and aggressive, it`ll never take off.

Just interested to see how he spins it that the guys who reached the final 11 months ago would have been poor in the same tournament this season.
Because this season, this same team well well and truly not at that fitness or playing level.

Which one's are you meaning?
A good majority who are too old, injured or just not wanting to be here out of contract. That mix is the reason we have another season of serial loosing.

Exactly. Union st Gilloise who we beat to get to CL this season now in QFs of Europa with a good chance of SF spot. Not saying we would be there but a possibility we would be if we had actually lost to them.
We wouldnt this season unfortunate with the serial losers or players who times up at our club.
Europa league is our level though.
Id love to see big bassey again in our jersey though.

Considering the grief you give Goldson on every thread, to suggest you would have Ryan Porteous in a second is a wild take.
Least he would not dive/duck out the way of an oncoming ball 🙄

Shankland is fucking shite and nisbett isn’t much better.
we don’t need another penalty taker we’ve got one
A inconsistent one at that we have, his penaltys have threw him into the HOF, is that allowed in your book, cause their penalties.

He absolutely was and exactly what we need in Scottish football. There’s an argument of getting Josh Doig in for half the price of Yilmaz also.
Exactly whats wrong. Especially on this forum.
To be sucessful in the SPHell you need that core. Porteous is another id have signed in second.

Not sure he was tbh. Especially at the cost the Sheep would have wanted from us.
He’s got zero assists in 26 appearances this season.
Last season he had 1 assist in 46.
Season before that was 2 assists in 49.
Doesn’t scream out as being someone that would have taken us on a level.
Turn our noses up, not go into this again then. Thats on midget wilson.
Shankland, Nisbet same.
Should be hoovering them up for pennies at championship level on low end wages and loaning back out.
Too late now, Scumdee utd have a constant flow of youth going to the EPL.

If we dont beat the tarriers next again Sunday, we could see the lowest league attendances at Ibrox for a long time.
Sheep have won their last 6 with popcorn teeth mini incharge

Jack certainly shouldn't be offered a contract. He gets injured, takes months to get match fit, then rinse and repeat. He is 31 now and will start to take even longer to recover from injuries.
He has been here almost 6 years and has only made 111 league appearances.
Time to cut our losses and spend his wage on a younger and fitter player.
Lewis ferguson 🙄 (Scottish)
Too late now as per. Forward planning and all tha...

Yes pansies, soft as fuck, unwilling to play through any pain barrier, constantly "injured".

Cantwell and Raskin, showing how it should be. Work rate was immense.
Think cause hes a bayern munich academy player, maybe has went to his head abit in that regards.
Reeks of Aaron Ramsey floating about patter. That plodding, half arsed jog thing these european types do, who are superstars and come alive when the balls played to their feet or the final 1/3.
Apart from hes turned up for us on games v the sphell dross. And we might have dropped more points if it wasnt for malik.

The criticisms he gets are absolutely valid though.
He’s a talented player, nobody is denying that, but project player or not, for five million the vast majority of the support are going to expect a player who isn’t just going to show up in the biggest of games, but also make a huge impact on them, and he hasn’t done that once this season yet.
I have no doubts that if we sign him he will continue to get better, but with how starved of success we are just now i’m not sure the wider support will have the patience to allow him to develop, especially considering the outlay he would cost.
1rst ive agreed with you 😆

I bet Wilson would turn up to collect the fucking award too
No doubts about it.
Honestly, brutal season after the highs of Europe and away trips last year.

Both Kent and Morelos have run their race and ought to be moved on. My fear is that they are planning on doing a 'Goldson' and resigning in the summer if nothing better turns up.
As part of the refresh/rebuild they both have to go.
Hopefully goldson too 🙄

Out of interest, who is your player of the year this season from our EL staring 11?
Rangers: McGregor, Tavernier, Goldson, (Bassey), Barisic, Lundstram, Jack, Kamara, Wright, Kent, (Aribo)
Honestly none.
We dont have one.
Cancel it.
Biggest postive of the season award instead - wilson out

Well against the scum he should have started Sakala who was in fine scoring form and was scoring for us and his country yet he started a player who has 3 goals in six years and cannot run.
He also started Tillman who is too slow for games against them and has struggled.
Fs, another person on this forum who actually knows about fitba 👍

Tillmans the same, need someone like him just with more burst/energy/desire.
Whens last time we had a midfilder who scored more than 15 in a season.
