I have read a lot the The Beast has put but on forum but this one I have a hard time disagreeing, especially when I know the managers wages.......Can we justify it?

That's my point for him, he put his money forward, i do not want to use the term we all know I am avoiding, but when have they come to the plate like him? If not DK I would have CG as he had the balls to fight our opponents down, this "Difgnified silence" is not dignified at all, it is cowardice by any other name. CG called someone a Paki friend and had a few bizarre statements about the club and management of the team, views most of us share but do not have his position to articulate. However he started just fine for me and he was a good man then, if he will now without his "My Rangers" routine I am sure as it is our Rangers not his! However I would trust him more than some of the others. At times I think his ego inflated too much and he got too big for his boots, he does not own Rangers, he serves our glourious club and we pay him, I think that is the part he has forgotten. Still we will see as us fans rip ourselves apart and have meetings like last night.

Not going to blame the big man for the money he gets just now, the board gave it to him. I am blaming him for what is on the pitch though and who it is deployed, football is like chess you play your pieces to your advantage, are we? I see swansea, Liverpool, Cardiff all taking on the fluid Spanish style which we should have tried, yes even here in barren Scotland, but instead we get turgid "Punt it up the top for the big man" and have a DM against lesser teams..... It is something of a nightmare, we are not learning. I am new to the site so do not want to go off on one with the backroom staff as i know I may be seen as a timmy, but FFS give us the product we crave! I beg of you.

I didn't read a lot of the comments as I am tired but if we play one up front again with no backup plan then i think we all know what the issue is and it is not the players available or on the field. We all love Coisty, we will forever, but it is grim with one up front. "New signing waiting to come in" or not, we should be walking this. I heard an average defender who became a brilliant manager, he even got knighted and they called him SAF, I also heard of an outstanding forward who became a manager and without money was p1sh, his name was Kenny. Some people are not football managers.

So he invested 250K to be a director in Rangers, what was his pay that year? Just asking....

Quite similar to a football club I know who had a fake tax claim against them and lost all their money and best players...... Got to say I would be in the DK camp (from actions speak louder than words mentaliy, my mum can be quite clever at times) if It had to be from what is left after CG. I am not 100% sure about CG by any means but at least i know he wants to make money, which will mean he has to run at a profit, provide the best product and cut costs (which seems to be topic of the day just now). We need to change things for us all in the future and it has to start now, the current incumbents and hangers on have not advanced us down a business model road that i can see. Just like the playing style has to change, even though we have one of our greatest at the managerial helm, we cannot play one up against Forfar. We all know we have shed loads more to do and not a lot of time before we face the bheast again.

Second post here so know I will not be seen in a good light however.... I have to agree with all those who say wait until the accounts come out, there are too many one offs that are not known like Ed House, Albion CP, player pay offs, Chairman/board/player pay offs, wages, income received and forecasted to make any form of judgement. Not to mention the legal costs of all our days out in court. From what I understand Brian was a lot less than direct last night with his summary of the current state of our accounts (maybe we need a Yorkshire accountant to tell us a spade is a spade!). Still we will see at the end of the month when they are released and they have to as we are now listed. Until then I think we have a panic mentality at times that we are going down the same spend, spend, spend model. Fair play to a lot who see it this way as we have previous and looking at some of the salaries being dished out for our staff are eye watering to say the least, but best to see the whole picture before we go off on one.
