Ref the post from host you were quoting, I can only see two carelessly worded "allegations" (but nothing he declares as fact, think more likely mistakes), which is not over the top when it is obviously a heated interaction between you two. The rest were worded with "imo" and "maybe", which in paper talk is "I will throw something out and see if it explodes". Good for the goose, good for the gander on that mark. Your also making a fair few digs about him yourself and to be fair he does not appear on the tele or quote publicly opinions concerning our Rangers, he does as he said air his own opinion on a Rangers forum, rightly or wrongly, he is also entiltled to do it within reason (Maybe where Ed got it a tad wrong, I don't know, but I don't want to get involved in that as he can only speak for himself, the Irony of me speaking for Host is not lost on me). Some things you say are good and seem sound so many understand, some things might seem agenda driven or close to the bone and that gets people's backs up. It is the nature of the role you have taken upon yourself to have the status to be given money by the Beeb for your views, hence the "jealousy" which is sometimes mentioned of those who do not agree with you. Some people do not have this platform to speak for things Rangers, as you do, is not always "jealousy", maybe it is as Host states, someone just having his say on a forum and not making an ars3 of himself in public (not that I am saying you are doing/done that, just the other side of the publicity angle, ala Green). Still I think host is right to have his opinion read, recently the "observation/accusation" you will not engage in topics/questions/subjects you do not like is also a bit worrying. You do however get good credit from me for engaging in this one (not that you care, but if it helps I don't care if you care ). Not really a lecture, not really advice as I am not qualified, kick 7 bells of sh1t out of each other if you want. Just giving you my view on what I perceive as the situation.

Don't think we can register a new player until the 1st of September, there is then a 48 month registration period in place for new signings for any blue team in Glasgow down to due diligence and the make up of the board. Tell me HOW many offered, exactly please and what price per share? You could also add how much of their own money they were putting in or were they using investors/partners in that offer that needed to go through due dilligence too? As for the calling of Anti-Green people Rhebels i agree it is wrong, but I do also agree that the Anti-Green character assasination is wrong too, he did step up to the plate, whether he invested his own money or not doesn't matter either, as others did not step forward in time for due diligence (as per my "who else gave an appropriate bid quesion"). If you want to find something from the administrators of a block to any other realistic valid investor and think D&P blocked them unreasonably then sue them. Has Green tried to make money and take advantage of a situation, certainly. Did he use investors money, hell yes. Has anyone else offered an appropriate bid to buy the club now? didn't see one. Are the current crop of new prospective "owners" now trying to do the same and take advantage of the current unrest? Certainly. What we need to do is agree on a way forward and push the club to take action, something we cannot agree on.

Interesting idea, need to think on it a bit more but not against it personally. Mind you my view means sh1t, but still could have a wee bit of legs, however would our mhedia allow it on tv or would it be in the advert break before the match kick off/special commentary/whatever else the feck they come up with?

If we could go a couple up top from time to time would like to see that to be fair. Still, new season, new players and manager has had another season to see fan reaction to some formations. Even SAF got the fans backs up at Man Utd at the start, but end of this season if we still have the same good/average/wobbly/p1sh poor then we may need to know the next new signing and it possibly won't be a player (or another sodding board member ;-) ).

Ahh but SteveJ mate your just trying to start fights. The steward bloke had a metal bucket and all and no drama at all. The keeper doesn't matter, the £20 a shift guy (who is there for your safety two Rfc52 (yes I have been a steward have you?) was in no danger at all. the keeper had gloves on and all, just comedy that his glove grip to things. Still we could all have p1shed on the goalies hands to cool them down like those famous boys that have the "craic" and kid on we are in dundee. Another minor point Rfc52,the bloke who earns the £20 picking up your cr@p from the pitch could also be a bear, family man or just needing to earn an income. Yeah lets lob some sh1t he has to deal with so our wee bears can have a bit of a giggle. As for patronising, I bow to your excellent knowledge of the subject, your so good at it yourself.

I think the statement is for fans not for anyone else, certainly not a warning to the press, they are too cowardly to be overly stupid so will hide things with obfuscation. The problem is with the way that these stories are worded (imo), the "According to sources and apprently" sprinkled in every negative statement then there is nothing that can be held against the story as they were just "told" what they thought was the truth. Best they would have to do is a two paragraph piece on page 38 with the "agony aunt" section saying "oops we are really sorry for any misrepresentation......" The sad truth is the club need to stop talking to these rats and freezing them out as far as possible and conduct all releases through the club website and any paper who will align with the club (we know one are sponsored by the scum). Until we fight the media with ignoring them, even risking a fine or two, the sooner we will start getting some form of equilibrium, aparently, according to sources.

You'll be saying you are just having the craic next, remind you of anyone?...... Flares are not required or clever in any league, even Italy, and certianly see no reason for the toilet roll lobbed into the goalies box. It is pointless and not just "young lads having a bit of fun", that's a balls excuse imo, show some class. The younger generation could do with getting a few skelps about the napper for bad behaviour and then maybe we would get better behaviour. However to echo another poster, the way groups conduct themslves with songs and enthusiasm is great to see and hear, just need more of that and less of the "kiddies" behaviour. A bear arrested over pish is not a good thing and just feeds our little tabloids toadies all they need to get another boot in the balls for us. Also you may want to spare a thought for the steward who has to go onto the pitch and make sure that flare comes off safely, hardly in his job description to be picking up a pyrotechnic device.
