i have said on many occasions that jjb are a nightmare they are a retailer who struggles to keep staff , their management are so lapsed they have let this once thriving buisness go sliding into obscurity . i myself worked in the sports retail industry in the late eighties early nineties for intersport we had 25 branches all making a sufficient level of profit . the top boss brought in a couple of new buyers they made big errors as brands like lotto ,diadora ,sergio tacchini were top sellers one year fell of the radar the next . thats probably whats happened here aswell ,bought too many stock which has to be heavily discounted. the major problems all sportshops have are they dont know whether to go down with being a true sportshop selling everything fron bowls stickers to judo suits or going down the fashion route . nowadays the fashion route will win as long as the stores have good buyers ,stock is not to expensive and store s stock changes and updated often keeping up with trends and old stock gets sold off quickly . jd sports follow this practice very well in my opinion . going back to jjb just last weekend i was in glasgow for home game v motherwell i was in argyle st jjb £44.99 for new away top just over road £ 40 in sports direct , in this day and age of watching the pennies its £40 every time .

at first he was quite good but then got predictable ,we should get graham roberts conducting again that was magic or just a good pa shouting out the team like in germany at shalke ,the atmosphere some how is electric over there prior to kick off .only blue order section in broomloan front and small section off enclosure try to make home games a special occasion by singing and waving flags ,the rest is like a morgue ,only against celtic ,hibs and aberdeen is there any real noise and usuaslly have to get a bad refereeing decision or go a goal down to get crowd going . my mates and i have been saying this for years .comments

clubfoot as i call him has actually surprised me , i hate to say it but he has started season very well ,and the confidence he has lately is obviously down to his scotland debut and recent old firm game . keep it up kirky. i have said before daniel agger or sami hyppia are avaliable we should push the boat out for either but agger being younger would be my preferred choice .

Thats rubbish laudrup wanted to go summer before and minty talked him into 1 more year then he had problems with his sciatic nerve in his back . obviously mate i know where your coming from with the chelsea thing and that but he retired not that long after that . Brian laudrup was a true blue and will always be a legend in my eyes , he conducts himself very well even now he speaks very highly off the gaffer and the great times he experienced with rangers . unlike gazza who just wants to self harm .
