  1. Head upfront and body at centre half. It'd be funny if it wasn't likely mate.
  2. How many centre halfs and left backs in a starting 11 is just too much? If Jig broke his leg, got charged with a DUI and started funding ISIS.......what position will he be shoehorned into next week? Does Ally agree that Arnold Peralta was more useful to us when he was stuck in France waiting for his bird to get a passport AND does Ally agree that next time we get a corner of free kick we should just hand the ball back to the opposition and at least try and get to the top of the fair play league?
  3. That would all cost money that we don't have. It's pish and shite but wishing won't get us anywhere. I do believe that another manager could make a team out of us but we can't afford that either. We won't see any changes and our title hopes seem to be pinned on other teams being garbage, it's a fucking sad state of affairs. Hope I'm wrong.
  4. I played the result down, my thinking being....it's only Inverness, had we been beaten I'd have been F£%^ing raging. I am guilty of OP's point. Born in '85, I blame my expectation levels on what I grew up with. Have to take a step back and realise that last night IS a great result, for where we are now and where we are going, another step in the right direction.
  5. I thought Black was in about everything last night, even at half time I was hoping for Temps to come on for Law and shift MacLeod inside because I thought Black was irreplaceable.....even on a yellow! Varied opinions, same result
  6. I thought McGregor was brilliant last night, Lewis MacLeod we know got the goal and the sponsors MOTM award but it was between McGregor and Black for me and I'm edging more on the side of Ian Black.
  7. The funds are there to take up full allocation and apply for more. That had to be put to a vote for all members and the result of that should be final tonight. When I cast my vote, I could see that the members who voted before me were overwhelmingly in favour of taking up this option. It is rhetorical and you can't please everyone, especially people who aren't members and don't get to vote. I've had people tell me they will not sign up because they don't like who is in the initial working party so they would WAIT until seeing who was elected onto the board before signing up. Frustrating because without being a member they can't vote in the election. It's really not about individuals. We are always going to foot the bill for our club. 8000 Hearts fans signed up to save their club if we could do that we would have a brighter future.
  8. Yes RF will continue even if we wake up tomorrow and everything is great. The idea is that for too long when things go wrong we can't hold whatever board to account. I think that's why you get protests and what not because the board do not need to answer us. Our main goal at RF is to have a collective 5% which means we could call an EGM in a worst case scenario. After that we can continue to increase our shareholding or fund other things for the club.
  9. It won't, say we march on to the next problem and I say join RF, you say "how will that help us now?", it won't. While we struggle from shit to shit the fans could be building more shares collected together. But you're right it won't help us by the turn of the year.
  10. NamibianBear, It has been launched. Initial volunteers make up the working group for now. That vote has yet to be made. Working group have done some good things in the meantime with links through Amazon, hotels and travel groups. All the information is on the website and they will be happy to answer any questions. I'd urge every fan to at least have a read on the website, contact RF if you have any questions and if it isn't for you fair enough. Don't dismiss it without asking questions. I'm just a fan trying to highlight something I think is a good idea. Unfortunately my £18.72 can't erase what I just witnessed, a gutting start to the league and I picked the worst week to give up smoking.
  11. It has been launched and already made first purchase of shares, should soon be purchasing more. The first aim is to gain control of 5%. It is not about fully owning the club. It's about fans having shares in a block together. Once we have enough shares to be able to hold people to account every member will be able to vote on where our money goes after that. Fund a scouting system, donate for stadium maintenance or whatever is most needed at the time. I can't understand why anyone could be negative about RF.
  12. Simple Q, if not why not? A lot of us have lost cash supporting our club with shares and a lot of us invested again knowing that we will never look for a return on our shares. We invest with ticket books, merchandise, tv and everything in between. We don't have a say. New membership scheme, fine but I doubt it will be that link between us and the CEO that we would like to imagine. I don't want this waiting on a money man or being dependant on someone any more. Who knows our club better than us? Who really has our clubs best interests at heart? Shoot me down all you want but I believe in one member one vote, no factions. I'm proud to donate £18.72 per month to Rangers First, it rewards me with a voice and I hope many other fans join so my voice becomes part of a roar.
  13. Surely I can't of been the only one that believed it was butter...surely no
  14. From fitness report yesterday, "Captain Lee McCulloch and his deputy Wallace were also standouts and Sherriff was happy with the overall showing he saw."
  15. If we can get any sort of fee for him then great, I don't know how good of a World Cup he can get given his Nation and what is or not expected of them but he is played out of position with us, he is unlikely to improve as a player with us and he's right.....it's baltic! I hope he shows up well in Brazil and we can SELL a player, not release or payoff but actually sell!
