I’m not sure if the headline is a lift and drop from a media source or Williamson’s headline but it doesn’t really reflect the story.
I’d be concerned if we didn’t have players in the dressing room who think we can win the league. I would be similarly concerned if Lafferty was in the paper just saying “we will win this league” with no real background.

I completely agree with you and I think this is because, unlike previous managers back to Walter, he has the self confidence and belief that he can manage a club of our size, that he belongs here.
Warburton and Pedro never had that, Ally obviously did as a player (and assistant) but you felt that from the day he took the top job that confidence drained a bit and he was always on the defensive.
Steven Gerrard knows he belongs at the top in everything he does.

I do like him as a player and a character and think he will eventually mature into a good Scottish Prem striker but the facts are he has only ever proven himself in the Scottish Championship.

I don’t think it makes any difference (apart from a few quid prize money extra and possibly one less qualifier less) whether we finish 2nd, 3rd or 4th. If they were going to throw a game against the sheep to fuck us then they would need to throw the cup final too to stop us getting into Europe.
