The amazing thing is, in all the leagues in the world there will be 11 freebies out there that would easily win us the league within our budget. The problem is knowing who they are and where they are.

Yeah couldn't agree more, but there are players out there playing below their standard and do well for us who would jump at wages like that. We need to constantly scout players even when we are not looking to sign anyone and if the quality isn't good enough then hold the scouts accountable. I get football is tough and the top clubs are hoovering up all talent and have massive squads but 1 thing football is not short of is good players, we just need to unearth them.

We won't be able to afford him as clubs with more scope with wages will get him, last year a few million would have got him no bother.

I get why people ask that but our model of signing players down south when we've seen them play hasn't really worked. There will always be an element of risk signing any player but we need to move away from signing the bulk of our players in the English league. I suggested a player last summer saying we should go for branco van den boomen who I had only seen twice but his stats were really good in ligue2 , he has had a good season in ligue1 and will be well out our reach now. Point I'm trying to make is most fans will only have stats from apps or websites, but if we can see this then why are our scouts not tasked harder to find these players. There needs to be more accountability to find quality players in other markets. Shopping down south is just lazy imo

I hate shopping in the English market, the finances down there limit value for money. Unless we are getting someone on a free or a knock down price due to contract then we should steer clear of that market. There's loads of leagues where players are doing really well and have the stats to back it up that we should be targeting. French ligue2, 2 bundesliga and even serie b will have an abundance of players who have maybe ended up in a situation where they are playing below their standard and we could get them for a fair price. Constantly going to the well of the English market is not a good sustainable transfer policy to follow, yes we've sold players on from this market but when you compare the amount of signings and money we've made back it really should be a lot better.

Bit of a meh signing for me, when stoke got relegated to the championship he was terrible and actually lost his place in the team before moving. There seemed to be clips every other week of him making mistakes in the championship. He's older and more experienced now but the worry would be he's been on the bench for a long time now. @ElBufalo20 what he said ☝️

Shows the importance of taking our chances, should have been at least 3 up at ht. Fluke of a goal and then we crumble, the reason we never get a lucky goal is coz we only try 5 yard sideways or backwards passes.

You said it was the worst game of football ever, which is a clear lie. You obviously never watched any of the old firm games in our 1st season back. Regardless of if it's your opinion or not there's loads of games that have been worse than that 1st half.

How's he strutting about?? As much as he's not good enough to play for us he's been nowhere near the worst player on the pitch. Folk just luv abusing Lundstram coz he's this seasons scapegoat, no matter what he does. Tillman almost cost a goal and nobody mentions it.......it was actually Lundstram that stopped them from getting in. Davies, Barisic, Cantwell and to a degree Tillman have been worse imo.
