Tbh I don't think Burnley offer massive wages however that may have changed recently. Their squad is made up of loan players and I believe they operate in a budget with a view of sustainability if they are relegated.

Surely if he was key to our run to the final and the money the club made from that, would that not cover the cost? At the end of the day we buy these players to bring success and in an ideal world success and selling players for twice the fee would be ideal. I'm a Kent fan and based on ability we've not got another player like him, I can understand the stats argument and find it hard to argue the case but for me I'd keep him at all costs.

He's been in charge 4 months, only lost 1 game and was unlucky not to beat them at Ibrox. He's having to work with a squad that needs overhauled and not his, harsh as fuck if you're crying for him to be sacked at the end of the season. In terms of stopping them win a treble, it's not like a diddy side has put us out, it's the team that's coasting it atm and he's having to try stop them with a squad that he's already admitted needs turned around. Will be judged from his transfer window in the summer and thereafter.
