You're being harsh as fuck on someone who wouldn't be playing if all our CH were fit. His game time would be managed and he'd be put against weaker opposition. The fact he's been thrown in at the highest level of football means he gets a free pass as he's still young and developing, he's shown he will be a good player but this standard is a stretch too far at the moment.

Of course it should be, he's young, raw and not fully developed. Even your Bellinghams and fodens made mistakes when they were his age, the difference is king has been thrown into the highest standard of football due to injuries and told to sink or swim. I know he's had a few poor games but I applaud that it doesn't seem to affect him much, he still has the confidence to try and play passes even if he's fucked up the last 1. We/he are in an unfortunate situation but he'll improve for these experiences and so will we if he signs another contract.

It's the manner of the defeats that's worrying and he clearly has learned. There also needs to be blame put at the door of Ross Wilson as the recruitment has been terrible. Ultimately Gio will eventually get sacked and Wilson will keep his job, simply because the blame that the players aren't good enough will be because the manager isn't training them properly.

He's the only 1 that's showed any desire and hunger to keep his Jersey when played. Lacks the quality to be a long term answer but considering who else is behind him I'd play him every week just now. As for Kent he had a 10 minute spell round about when we scored that it looked like he was back to his usual self, the problem is the other 70 minutes he done fuck all again. I wouldn't have a problem with him losing the ball if he was trying to beat his man or create something but most of the time he loses it by turning back or trying to cut inside and play backwards. There was also a spell where it looked like he was just running to areas he knew he wouldn't get the ball, it's soo frustrating as he is a brilliant player when he wants to be.

The goal in the Scottish Cup final always stood out to me as we got battered for 90 mins and Rod the prod got us the win. Edit: It was the game at the piggery we got battered, got them mixed up coz it was pretty much a title decider, but he scored the winner in both.

The problem with signing sands and Tillman is the transfer fee that comes with it isn't worth it imo, £10 million for the 2 of them isn't a good deal.

No surprise really, Steven Davis is probably responsible for about 3k of that. His legs are finished and doesn't mark anyone, doesn't chase anyone and doesn't press anyone. Yes he still has nice touches but when we don't have the ball he's a man down. Easiest thing in football is to run and mark someone, the fact we're not doing either is a clear indication to the players being unfit. They are taking more gambles by not tracking anyone and passing the buck, it's embarrassing and we're a laughing stock after all the adulation from last season.

So if a player has been ruled out for 8 weeks you want a count down every week just to get an update on injured players? I think saying a player is out for x amount of time is sufficient. If they don't know then saying nothing is better coz they'll be folk like yourself criticising coz they haven't made it back within that time frame. I get it's frustrating and we do seem to pick up injury prone players but our luck with injuries as well has been dreadful.

It's not really, if var says it's offside then it's offside therfore var has overturned it. Granted the other decisions are down to opinion of those in charge but offsides are determined by var.

VAR can overturn decisions, if a ref gives a goal but var overrules coz it's offside.

What I don't get about var and this is in other leagues as well is, when the game is stopped and the ref is standing there waiting on a decision why doesn't he go and watch the monitor while they are checking??? The game can't continue until a decision is made and then in a lot of cases they ask the ref to come and view it anyway, if he was already looking at the screen it would be quicker.

His style of play is style focus on not conceding. I understand why folk like the idea but for me I just can't see him coming in and playing good football.
