  1. The reason everyone is still bleating about McCoist is due to the fact that he put together this group of nonesense, he picked the formation, he told the players what tactics to use and HE was the 1 picking up the healthy wages(still is) for it!! McCoist will bear the brunt of it until a new manager(not Kenny) is in place that can bring in his own players and coaching staff! Unfortunatley Ally's reign will haunt us for a while!!!!
  2. I think there's plenty of owners out there that could turn this mess around but it's getting ownership thats the problem, there's noway the current crop of shareholders would be willing to sell their shares unless they make a hefty profit and then that would put most suitors off.
  3. I have to disagree with you, the only thing Law done all game for me was contribute to making an arse of their 2nd goal!!
  4. We are an awful outfit but can be repaired! However if the board don't act and sort this mess out soon we will be lurking in the lower leagues for a while! What was evident today and maybe a positive is that although the bheasts dominated us they are not light years ahead of us and probably only have 5 players who are on a different level( i'm not suggesting that any of our players are equal quality) in Gordon,Denayer,Van Dijk,Brown,Commons the rest are average players and hopefully with a new manager SOON we can maybe repair our glorious club and bring in the half dozen players at the end of the season that would help us challenge that mob again and stop their pathetic attempt at domintating Scottish football.
  5. Now that i think about it I'm sure there was a centre half from hearts that we tried to sign at the same time in a double deal!!!
  6. The fact that we have had 3 attempts to win that diddy ramsdens cup and not managed it says it all! That should've been a given just like the league titles on our way back to the SPHELL! We've made soo many mistakes on how we go about re-building and getting back to the top league it's unreal, but we've got to wonder why he wanted to spend almost a million pounds on Templeton when we were in the lowest leaugue, that alone is criminal!!!!
  7. For me law was a disgrace today, he never got involved and I actually forgot at 1 point he was playing. We can't have passengers in an old firm game regardless if we thought we could win the game or not. I honestly think no matter how poor shiels has been if given the same amount of games that law has had he would've scored more and been more of a threat!
  8. Nobody mentioned it in the past coz that's the way the game was back then but football has moved on leaps and bounds and it's all geared round fitness and tactics!! We reportedly train for 2hrs a day and then go home!!! ARE U FOR FUCKING REAL what other professional athlete trains for only 2hrs and goes straight to Nando's when he's finished or drinks and eats tea and biscuits at a 15 minute interval??? Our training session should be split the morning session should start off with an hour and a half of hard running and fitness then an hr of short sharp passing and moving drills, LUNCH AT MURRAY PARK, then afternoon session of set piece drills and tactics for the next match with the laughie jokey shit at the end! Fuck I'm surprised soccer am managed to film us doing the crossbar challenge they'd of needed to be up sharp which then makes u wonder by the end of it how much training got done that day!! Anyway rant over
  9. The good old days when Jardel trained with us and we drooled over his Mrs
  10. Just making the most of a bad situation, I wouldn't play mohsni ever again and zaliukas is out, we've sold macleod and black/peralta are useless, templeton has been a waste of a transfer fee and wage as he never beats anyone, takes about 3 touches to control the ball and his shooting is erratic, mckay has been put back out on loan! As I said it's the team I would pick until things change.
  11. Bell Aird McGregor McCulloch Wallace Hutton Gallagher Law Shiels Smith Clarke I know we all crirtised McCoist for playing players out of position and immediately everyone will jump on the fact i have picked Aird at right back but i firmly believe that with his pace and energy he could become a very good wing back or attacking full back, he very rarley beats anyone with skill so the fact he could overlap and get up and down the park would help push other teams back and he has a good physique for the defensive aspect of it so might be worth a punt as we don't really have anyone holding down that position as their own.
  12. I think his rigorous training programs would be a god send but his reputation of being a disciplinarian is not what is needed at this time of turmoil not to mention the size of wages that would come with him. We need to start living within our means and going out and breaking the bank for big names is a thing of the past. Doing what we have done to get promoted from the last 2 divisions is pathetic and has now set us back further than when we 1st went into admin so hopefully once all these problems are resolved we can maybe learn from our mistakes eventually and bring in a manager that will give youth more of a chance. Investing in a scouting netwrok to bring in the best youth possible is the way forward with seasoned professionals and experience at the spine of the team.
  13. He definitely hasn't been taking his chances when they've come his way but I remeber 1 Mr McCoist who made a living of scoring 2 or 3 from about 9 chances, the main problem I see is we don't create anywhere near enough chances per game due to lack of width and creativity and the fact our players are indulging in Mr Kippling fondent fancies at half-time. I'd still let him go even if he could come good as we have able alternatives in clarke and gallagher. I very much doubt we'd get a fee as well as he's almost out of contract, kilmarnock couldn't afford 1 and we need his wages off the ever expandng wage bill!!!
