  1. Fans were and are fucking outstanding Never heard a word from the soap dodgers bastards until they scored & it got silenced very quickly Get it right up yees ya dirty scummy cunts, got played off the park off a team who were dead on their feet Away back under your rock
  2. I agree with you btw, not disputing that but we're fans, the majority of the squad aren't Not saying they'll be going out to throw it, not try etc, course they want to win the match. But you'd be daft to think they don't have at least 1 eye on Leipzig.
  3. Whether you agree with that or not, I sadly think that'll be some of the players attitudes today Personal pride will kick in & they'll want to win the match of course, especially against them but most will have 1 eye on Leipzig & avoiding injuries before that 99% of this squad won't get a chance to play in a major European Semi Final again in their life, they'll do everything they can to be involved.
  4. Aye as far as the rules stand, Roofe/Sakala won't be allowed in, unless something mad has been added or changed Balogun i'm sure can play as he was born in Germany so will classify as a German citizen As bonkers as that sounds, fuck all to do with the science behind it all
  5. Sadly for 95% of footballers it is Goldson for me is 1 of those that if he wanted to knuckle down he could easily be our #1 CB for years to come, the amount of games he plays is ridiculous Think we'll lose him to a Brighton/Villa type in the Summer though
  6. I like my job, like the office and the people are decent enough If I get offered 4x the money to go somewhere else I'm out the door without even thinking twice.
  7. Just woke up...thank fuck being off today 🤣 What a night, what an atmosphere. Going to watch the game back now & see if it should've been the 4/5/6 goal thrashing it seemed like at the game! Our first half performance was as good as anything we've done in Europe these last few years
  8. Sadly due to the failures this year this is the market of players we'll be looking at If someone moves on for a substantial fee then maybe we'll push the boat out but until then, be prepared for a lot more like this
  9. Prices aren't bad considering everything else has sky rocketed The amateur nature of it all is, as usual, typical of our ticket office/setup
  10. Think the support have done that however we don't (and probably never will) know how much control Gio had over January's signings Was he happy with 2 'big' name loans, a player he knew through the City group & a young RB? Did he think we had enough to win the league and it meant he could get his better targets in the summer? End of the day, the squad we had should've been enough to win the league, he hasn't & it'll go back to Gio first Wilson will get this summer window, IF we sell players in a ridiculous cut price fire sale or bring in loads of free transfers then the fans will turn on him quickly.
  11. Braga is a bigger game, it's a European quarter final vs a Scottish Cup semi...there's no contest However, we're never expected to get anywhere near this far in Europe, its been a good run and while it would disappointing to go out, it would still have been impressive Losing a 3rd game to the tarriers in 2 months & watching them basically secure a treble, that's going to hurt the fans more than the European result & potentially see the end of Gio's support.
  12. They are definitely not a high scoring team, their league form always shows that & I actually watched them play against 10 men a few weeks ago at home & they struggled big time The Monaco result should be a shot in the arm for us though, they played really well and more than held their own in France, finishing with a 1-1 draw that took them through 3-1, they're no mugs. Seen comments all week about how they're a young side and might fall apart under the atmosphere, if anything they looked to enjoy it! It's got the feeling of Malmo again for me, I don't think you'll find many fans expecting us to get put out on Thursday & that's when we seem to struggle. As you say get on the front foot and dominate the chances but again, that's not something we do under Gio, we sit back and play our way into matches & they can certainly hurt us Few big calls for Gio to make, going into 7 days where he either shows he's got what it takes or falls very hard.
  13. He definitely did aye and looked like he had something to prove today, bit like Diallo I wouldn't say never play him again but he's got much more to make up after that tarrier performance He's 1 of the players i'd keep hold of tbh, I don't see us getting a big fee, he's not on ridiculous wages and it'll cost us more to get a good replacement in for him Just don't think he's earned enough to start again in a big game again, not yet anyway.
  14. Agreed that the changes did help freshen us up a bit, its just whether you trust them in a massive 2 games and personally I dont, Borna especially. I'd still have Bassey and Balogun in, if Balogun cant make it for some reason then id rather throw King in for a baptism of fire rather than Borna at LB and Bassey CB. He did alright today against St Mirren but he was rarely tested defensively and tbh he's got the heart of a mouse. I agree that Gio needs to use the squad more but think Thursday more or less picks itself, probably just the RW slot whether you stick with Sakala or move Aribo out there and have Jack Lundstrum & Ramsey in midfield Oh and to add, if Lundstrum doesnt make it i'd be more than happy with Davis, thought he was brilliant today
  15. I get the argument when people say aye the fans need to back the players There has to be a bit from both sides though! Even today, after Roofe's goal that was about 40 minutes of utter shite football, even the away crowds atmosphere died Go out and get a few tackles in, actually create a few chances and even without a goal, they'll get a good atmosphere This whole sideways play just kills any momentum both the crowd & players have
  16. Agree with the sentiment that he's not fit enough and we need to move him on However, we paid 3-3.5 million for the guy and he's on decent wages, not sure how you're moving a constantly injured player on without taking a huge hit on the guy Chances are, if Balogun/Goldson go in the summer & with his new injury, Helander will still be here until the end of next season when he walks on a free unless someone takes a huge punt.
  17. Diallo anytime is 5/1 Kinda shit that will happen after everything said the last week lol
  18. Good to see Ramsey got a run out Hopefully see him again before the end of the month
  19. Chances are we won't make any subs now till at least 70/75, only got 1 break left now & don't see Gio making 3 at once
  20. Reminds me of early Barisic when Gerrard called him out for not handling the physical side Helanders hearts just gone these days, doesn't want to play these games and miss the European nights
  21. Looked a groin injury, walked off but definitely a doubt for Thursday
