  1. Rodgers left Liverpool in a woeful state, it's about finding the right manager that fits the right club, man utd was always a tough one for whoever replaced fergie, spain just didn't work out, Sunderland a poisoned challace, so he played for the tarriers 30 years ago, Ffs were no cavemen the game has changed a bit since then, I'll give anyone a chance if it's going to improve us. Would love this to be hypothetical and Pedro still here this time next year, but he's got his work cut out for that to happen.
  2. I'd give Pedro till the end of the season, see what he can do with the January transfer window and see if he can get more out of the players as you say that pull the Jersey on, if he fails then he's gone, my choice would be Davie moyes with maybe Neil mcann or Alex rae as assistant, I know moyes won't be popular due to his ties with ceptic but football has evolved and I think he would do a right good job for us.
  3. First of all we need to invest in a solid defence, if that means replacing the keeper and the back four then so be it, we need to be much harder to score against, right now is anyone confident we can keep a clean sheet in any game? We are so easy to score against it's frightening, We will always create chances especially in this country but we must sort the back line ASAP, tav Hodson cardoso Defo not the answer Alves is 35. John is on loan and the jury is out on Wallace at the moment, only when we do this then we might start going the right way and start to gain a bit of confidence again.
  4. Absolutely bang on, I've slaughtered him for his performance yesterday, but your right he has been dreadful for weeks, and at 1.3 mill it's a pure joke.
  5. Agreed, they looked like they had 13 players at times, funny thing is I still think it's a very slight improvement on last year, when you consider we had 7 old firm debutants and 2 players starting there first ever games, with our captain and our most experienced defender out injured and our third or maybe fourth choice left back in hodson we were always up against it, yes they were far better than us but the reasons are there, we should have had a goal or two, so there not as far ahead as they think they are.
  6. That's a fair sum up mate, although Hodsons our second choice right back playing as our third choice left back, should still have done better though, i think a proper centre back would and should have dealt with it.
  7. Wouldn't have had to save it if cardoso had matched the gypsies run, basic stuff.
  8. I think he's been poor all season mate, reminds me of Karl svensson, and he's 4 years older than mccrorie, I expected a lot more for our money.
  9. You've obviously never played football mate, watch it again and then tell me who was to blame.
  10. So you happy with his defending yesterday?
  11. A fresh air swing, now that's murder in my book especially against the beasts, but I'm more angry at him switching off for the second, that's not down to him being nervous, it's down to shocking defending.
  12. Because he's fuckin murder, looked like an amateur with the fresh air swing at the first goal, and didnt even bother to match thumbheads run for the second, he looked more like the novice and mccrorie the 1.3mill defender. He should be dropped as soon as we have two fit centre backs.
  13. What about cardoso? Fresh air swing at the first and let the wee gypsy cunt run through for the second when he could clearly see his run, fuckin horrible defending.
  14. We've spent 7 million, they had the same team as last year, if there was a improvement then it was very small, certainly not anywhere it should be with what was invested, he's now on the brink in my opinion. Pena makes sebo look like an absolute bargain.
  15. Take your point, although pena cost more than Griffiths and armstrong, and roughly the same as sinclair, but team for team they have spent probably three or four times more, although the same can be said when we knocked them out the scottish Cup 16 months ago so it can be done, my point is we must match/compete with them and must show improvement from Pedro's previous old firm games, if not questions must and will be asked, personally I would prefer us to build a team from the back and be harder to beat but unfortunately we are far to easy to score against and not just against them, it's every game, if we don't improve with 44000 bears at ibrox then he's left himself wide open.
  16. Sadly, I tend to agree, although I'm praying for a turning point, and hopefully its today.
  17. For Pedro to come out of this game with credibility, his team must show we can at least match/compete with them, if not and we have more of the same as last season then the writing on the wall will become clearer in the wrong way for the Portuguese manager, we're at ibrox Ffs, show no fear get right in about them.
  18. Give him the last 20 minutes, don't back down to these beggars were at ibrox, and we fear no one!!!
  19. In my opinion we have, we look like an accident waiting to happen almost every game.
  20. Terrible appointment and he doesn't even look bothered, spent seven million and took us backwards, simply out his depth ant the management committee that chose him are liable.
  21. The house scenes early in the programme were definitely filmed in Drumchapel, Achmore road, fasque place and John morrisons house was in kendoon ave, the play is part of a cd collection which also included just a boys game, and elephants graveyard all by Peter mcdougal, all of which are a great watch.
