Best performance of the season

Last night we finally showed what we can do against one of our supposed challengers for the title. We played with pace and power. We took our chances when we had them and utterly dominated Dundee United for almost all of the match.

Isn't it amazing what happens when almost all of the players are playing in their natural position?

How far in front would we be if we tried to pass the ball every week rather than the usual punt up the park?

Didn't have one failure out there tonight. Beasley and Novo on the wings were excellent. I can barely remember Broadfoot and Papac letting United put a cross into the box - a significant improvement on recent weeks! Alexander didn't have much to do but commanded his area and dealt with crosses well and Boyd and Miller up front proved why they are the best partnership up front. Both worked hard and Miller took his two goals well. 8 goals so far this season (4 in games against Celtic and Dundee Utd) isn't bad going.

More of the same on Saturday please Rangers. Nothing less than a win will do. :uk:

Excellent performance last night. One touch passing, pacey and direct but what really stood out for me was the pressing. We didnt give utd a minute to catch breath. We pressed them all over the park forcing them into silly mistakes. They couldnt get going at all. Even when they did venture into our half they found themselves faced with DMB, Novo, Davis or big Lee. If they managed to get by one of them Papac and Broadfoot were standing firm.

We were a wee bit shaky defending in the 6 yard box at set pieces but the outfield defensive performance was spot on. The defensive performance was overshadowed by a very competent attacking performance. Not a bad complaint!!!
