You could park your arse on any seat in any stand except the Main Stand, if you went to the game with say 10 mates you could all sit together, which was a plus, instead of being dotted all around the place. The days of average gates of 18-20,000........happy days sitting wi yer mates,flutes playing,singing,throwing snowballs and generally having a laugh and a good day out. Souness' first season was 65 bangers for an adult defo becaue I still have the books and the season after was 110 bangers and the rest is history.
