I don't get what some people are complaining about? He's just asking who you'd rather have in the midfield, regardless of whether the aforementioned players have/will sign.

Who would I rather have playing for Rangers, a Rangers player or a free agent who looks like he's off to Sunderland ? I think I'm going to have to go with the Rangers player.

Vaughan would be a good signign but as someone mentioned above he's off to Sunderland.
